It might be an unpopular opinion, but Shyne’s debut album is underrated and an excellent gangsta rap album. The beats are crazy, his rapping style is crazy (and far from a “Dollar Store Biggie”), and it’s an excellent debut overall. It’s a shame he came out of prison with that bizarre, terrible style. That said, ten years is a long time, let alone if spent in prison.
