@@FoolishEngineer Happy to help on that! Imagine how efficient it could be. Instead of wasteful bridge rectifier, you have active rectification using 2 opamps and 4 MOSFETs that can output tens of amps without needing any heatsinking. This would be just a start of this highly efficient design

Thanks for the information. Unfortunatly SiC-Mosfets are significantly more expensive than similar Si-Mosfets. An alternative for higher Voltages are Si-IGBTs, although they are not for super fast switching applications.
