Pre-season has shown they are up for the job, and Ange is VERY good at getting a team to play as one unit with one goal - to play exciting attacking football that brings results. Some will bemoan the lack of a so-called "Plan B". You don't need one if you get Plan A right. Ange wants other teams to come to fear playing Spurs, knowing they will be pressed and swarmed by skilled and fearless young players who just will not stop.

One of the interesting parts of the youth focus with Ange is that the players are more malleable than established stars. Yes, they have speed, endurance, and skill sets, but the ability to mould the younger player to his system has paid dividends in the other clubs he has coached. Often, the player will also be a decent human being that Ange picks - he gets rid of players if they disrupt the overall energy of the team, despite their skill set. IMO

Wilson can play left or right. Can play through the middle. He is fast take on players and get the ball in. Can also score too. He is 19 an PL ready as he played most of the season for Burnley. It gives Spurs more options and makes the squad bigger. Being 19 means he will always play his best for the team to get a starting place. Its great business by Spurs

I dont see a reason why Spurs always sign younger players rather than ready made players. You can not win anything with these young players. Did City all its success, Liverpool and Arsenal became successful with buying young players??? Furthermore signing a promising young players always backfired for Spurs look at Gil, Jack Clarke, Sessegnon, Philips, Rodon they didn't perfom and end up being loans after loans. Why did Spurs leave The likes of Chiesa and Eze ready made who can make impact straight away rather than these kids 3 seasons to develop. How can it win a trophy?????? We should be signing KDB and Yamin Yamal. Ange isn't being backed. We've only spent 300mil since he's been in charge. Seasons over allready. We only sign nobodys who are garbage like Udogi, van de ven, maddison, romero, porro, son, vicario ect. Terrible business by levy and enic.
