Might sound a bit naive but it's just the inability to use the field tilt, the successfully created a field tilt but there isn't a central player to take the advantage, and when rodrygo isn't there, there's no one to take the advantage of that tilt in central on the right hand side channels. Mbappe was meant to occupy those central open spaces but he couldn't do that naturally, and will need some time to adapt. Until mbappe could learn that, we should make 100% of that gap in both the league and the champions league.
