The main reason signed with RR instead of Simon is so that Angelina could control her own music - what she sings, what she writes, and what she records - and RR gave her that opportunity - she didn't want Simon or his producers to control her music. Also, one of the provisions of the RR contract would be that Angelina would be able to finish school before being heavily promoted.

I think Angelina and her family have made careful steps to protect her music, her mission, and her physical and mental health. If she'd signed with Cowell's label, she sure wouldn't have her own purpose built studio, and she wouldn't be working with the likes of Toby Gad and Diane Warren, two of the top five songwriters of the last (at least) two decades. Angelina, in a sense, couldn't afford what she'd lose if she signed with Simon. All I can say is, with Angelina and Republic Records, look out world!

This video is full of misinformation. AGT had wanted Angelina on the show for several years after she won Norway’s Got Talent. AGT was turned down because Angelina and her family did not want her to be obligated to sign with Simon’s label. After negotiations a deal was struck that would allow Angelina to appear on the show without any of those obligations to sign. So, there was never any intent for her to sign with Simon, therefore nothing to back out of. No falling out between her and Simon. The deal got her on the show which AGT wanted and gave Angelina exposure. Now whether or not that did not allow her to win has always been speculated. The exposure probably helped her in obtaining her contract with Republic Records a few months later

When she won Norway’s Got Talent, she was a CHILD. She was seven! Not because they did not want obligation to Simon’s label, but they did not want obligation to ANY production house. The best thing parents can do in her case. And who knows what was the contract conditions in USA 🤷‍♀️. All in all everything is ok now.

This young lady is a Phenomena of our time. I believe with the right promotion will become more famous than any singer in the last 75 years. I believe Angelina signing with Republic Records was a MUCH better choice than with Simon's label. Angelina signed with Republic Records at age 14, as their highest priority new artist. Republic built her a studio for her to create her magic. While we don't know the terms of the contract with Republic, Angelina's career has been on a slow, steady pace forward. She has had opportunities of meeting and working with the elite in the music industry. Angelina is only 18 years old and there is no reason to fully promote her yet. Angelina has yet to release a full album on Republic, but there are hints her first album may come in September 2024. Angelina and her music have improved the quality of my life more than I can express. Her voice hugs my soul and she makes me feel the emotions of the song, unlike any other.

The AGT folks have no track record of successfully handling artists, or can you name at least one successful example? Hence artists would be well advised to avoid lock-in to them if they can avoid it and have other offers. And of course if you want to work in this business you better quickly realize the realities of how it works. Talent shows are entertainment, not real competitions. They will use you and you can use them for exposure - thats the deal.

Angelina Jordan has had record producers beating down her door since she was a little girl, including Disney. Yet, she and her family have always turned everyone down. Her family wanted her to grow up first before she steps into the world stage. FYI, she won that contest easily. The people behind handling the so-called superfan vote is rigged. They announced a different winner because, simply put, Simon did not want to give the win to a person who turned him down for the record deal. You know how easy it is to say, "oh, everyone voted for this person" when in reality they voted for another person. You can see this happen at Koroke contest all the time. The judges will give their vote to this one person handling all the votes and he will announce a winner who just happened to be his friend. Watch later as he meet with this friend and they split the winning. That is short of how AGT works. Work with them and you can win, say no and your chances of winning is almost ZERO. Even if 99% of the people voted for you.

Right now, in her carrier I feel it was in her best interest to sign up with RR instead of Simon. But I really have a strong feeling that after the RR contract is over it would be in her best interest to go with Simon, if he will take her back, because he has connections and can lead her to a more well known, stable, up word direction in her career. Angelina wanted finishing the school, and that’s why Republican Records didn’t rush her career with tons of ads and huge concerts. It could be for some of the same reasons she didn’t sign a contract with Simon Cowell who needs to burn out the fire until he finds the next talent. That would mean no time for school for Angelina. The only reason I ever watched AGT was to see Daneliya Tuleshova, Angelina Jordan, and Charlotte Summers all of which dominated in Views but none signed the contract so none of them even made the Top 5 on this fake Talent Show Karolina Protsenko didn't even get to Audition for the show despite having around 8 million subscribers . Where did you geniuses get your information! There were negotiations to get Angelina on the show, and it was made clear that she was not, I repeat NOT, going to sign with anyone, especially AGT. And if you notice Angelina has the rights to Bohemian Rhapsody, but AGT has the rights to the show. I think you geniuses need to do your homework. By the way, Toby Gad, the cowriter of “If I was a Boy”, and he asked her to perform the song in his Piano Diaries concert and album, but he and Angelina worked on at least 7 other songs when Angelina was working on her “Old Enough” EP, but the songs were not chosen for that project. Everyone knew Angelina was not going to sign with any label, and as the finalist usually sign performance contracts with SYCO after appearing on the show, there was no way she could finish in the top 5, which was a forgone conclusion! To determine if Angelina got what she wanted out of the deal, you would have to see the contract she made with AGT to be on the show, but over 100,000,000 views of Bohemian Rhapsody on KZbin alone, plus the right to release her version as a single, granted by Queen because they loved her version, and the exposure the performance on the show and the controversy which it has inspired, I would think she got the better end of the deal. And let’s not forget what she got with Republic Records, a 2x Grammy winning producer as a mentor, the extensive catalog of music in her genre, and all the contacts, appearances, and support she has gotten over the last 4 years. AGT was a blip on the screen!
