I watched this short about 2 year ago i dont know how old it is, but I didnt like it, mind you I was at the beginning of my gaining weight season (i let go of addictive fitness apps, to get the wrong kind of attention) right this day i come across this video again as a reborn christian woman and Im taking her message as us women working on being the BEST version of ourself for our HUSBANDS, I may or may not lose all the weight gained but im starting to put in the effort, God is helping me push the gluttony spirit away from my temple. I gained a noticeable amount of weight in my early 20s due to a health condition and now I'm trying to lose the extra pounds. I have no problem with this message, just be careful how you word it because there's many people who go through horrible things and let themselves go for a time, not because they are lazy or it's their fault. This can be super hurtful to those that can't control it.

I agree, but there are also some of us who’s bodies are destroying itself from the inside out and have no control over gaining or losing weight when it comes to autoimmune thyroid diseases.. Any malfunction with the thyroid completely throws your body off and may not be able to recover.. So… For some, it isn’t “letting ourselves go”… It’s “my body is doing its own thing no matter what I do.”

No one should let themselves go man or who, exercising together, eating healthy and having a proper diet and lifestyle, drinking lots of water, it's important to any relationship that we pour into each others wellbeing for health is wealth, don't you want to be around as long as possible, lift each other up and prayers together can be the clue. Because life happens, children happen, depression happens, physical sickness or injury happens. It can be difficult for one to maintain themselves. And I would hope that if these scenarios happened to a married woman that hubby would try to help take some of the burden off and get his wife back together.

Actually I think the responsibilities are amplified as a single woman because you are responsible for yourself and you have to supply your own needs and who's gonna take care of you when you're old you need to stay young as long as possible those knees need to work those arms need to work

This is a very good point because I almost lost attraction to a man I was seeing due to his unrepentant gluttony. He would lose attraction to me as well if I took it overboard. I’m a healthy BMI but still working on losing 10-15 lbs to be more trim

Some women have enormous sized babies and/or multiple pregnancies. Other women can also get diseases like hypothyroidism, adrenal problems, hormonal issues and others that most men don't get. It makes those who ARE going through a DEEPLY heartbreaking season have a WRONG view of GOD who says He is NEAR the broken hearted, not coming down on them hard like you are here. I don't watch a lot of her content but I don't think she is being harsh. From what ive seen she seems fair But she is speaking of taking responsibility. Its understandable you are going through a dark time and you will heal in time. Also this is a small snippet of her message (shorts are 60 seconds) I don't think she coming from malice but trying to get people to take steps in the right direction. She is not referring to those with serious health issues she is referring to those whose lifestyle does not include exercise and healthy eating to ensure that we stay attractive to men/ husbands. A lot of people don’t want to accept her words but these are facts. Men are visual, and they can’t overlook what a woman would. We are not as visually stimulated as men that’s why we can date a fat man because our focus is usually his personality

It could be because the marriage/pregnancy/ post natal depression etc made her so unhappy she put on weight, lost hair. This is more common than you'd like to think. When the marriage is over, the hair starts growing back, weight drops off etc without much effort.

Just looking up scriptures about taking care of your body. If you are not sure about something, it is your job to trust God for yourself and not be lazy and do your own research. Just in the natural, we know if you don’t take care of your body, it will fail you so, common sense tells us if our bodies are God’s temple, we should take care of it.
