So true Don, we often forget about this! Small talk is a way to showcase your personality and how well you might get along with others. The interviewer will definitely be noticing.

I nailed both of my interviews and accepted my job offer today thanks to all of your invaluable advice and insight. (I connected so well with the hiring team, when i asked for $10k more in salary at the end of the tour, she said "everyone loved you and we are really excited to bring you on so I wouldn't even blink giving you that!"). 😂I'm glad you feel it's a good thing, because I just did a Social Worker interview and I was making small talks and joking as well as hitting the answers to the questions...I felt good and natural and the panel was laughing and engaging as well.
