Run this Bote across an oyster bed, the way you did the Lite Skiff Air, and you will discover one reason people criticize this boat. Things far less than an oyster bed will puncture this boat. Wait several months and you will see how flimsy the little quarter-20 mounts are. They will begin to peel off the boat. Be careful cleaning the pad on the deck. A modest amount of water pressure will damage the soft pad. Be sure to check the stability of the transom after 30-45 minutes of running your motor. The transom tends to come loose over time and the prop will tilt forward, under the boat. Bote advises not to uses the fins if you use a motor. That means if you motor to a spot and then try to paddle, the boat will not track because no fins.

good points to watch out for, im thinking if people gonna be fishing shallow water with a lot of things taht can puncture the boat they need to put a protective rubber layer underneath.

You haven't had it long enough. If you listen to reviews. They have a terrible warranty and terrible customer service. Every loves their ideas but their products don't last. Specifically their inflatables.

I’ve gone through 3 BOTE inflatables and when compared to others (ie. Tower or raft PVC), the material is extremely frail and cannot handle running over sticks etc. even on low speeds. Never had an issue with a Tower board, even when I whacked it with a machete. For the price point and for what this is designed to do, it should have a higher standard of PVC. Raft PVC and even the Tower PVC is built to last. BOTE offers the marketing and fancy bells / whistles but doesn’t offer reliability beyond added functionality
