I pray the Christians involved in these excavations will begin to acknowledge Ron Wyatt's contribution to the discovery of these sites. I've see folks producing documentaries about the site of the Red Sea crossing, the rock at Horeb, and Mount Sinai as if it were new discoveries when the Wyatt family revealed these things years ago. It shouldn't matter what denomination he was acquainted with. He made some wonderful discoveries that has benefited others to this day and should be acknowledged for them.

How does it go from Gaza to Sodom?... Would that make any sense if all the destroyed cities is in that valley to describe the area of the Cananites? How sure are we that Beith el and Ai is actually Beith el and Ai? What evidence do we have? Because the south cities to my knowledge has Sulfur stones one can collect in abonduence as destribed in the Bible being the way to destroy them... Do you find any Sulfer balls in the area you claim to be the place where it happened?

Sodom's inhabitants were rescued by Abraham after Sodom, Gomorrah and their allies were defeated by Elam, Shinar etc. Only to be totally destroyed by God due to their wickedness. God even sanitized the plain with Dead Sea salt. This area by the way will be a place of burial for the dead army of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 39.

I'm not finish with it - but this got me to think already... I checked the map for Beith El and Ai and rightly so.... If Lot and Abraham would stand in the middle of those 2 cities.... How would that add up with the cities being south if they can't be seen from there. Hmm, if I remember correctly it was 5 cities that got destroyed now - so... Oh... This is good stuff. I want to go to Israel again and hike it and see for myself now knowing the place were they most likely stood!!! How does that add up with Ron Wyatts claims of Sedom and Amorah and the rest of the cities? Ohh, I'm so confused at the moments and I just want the truth!!! What about the sulphur found in the southern cities?

I see on my map that there is an issue... Either the cities Beith El and Ai is place wrong or the city of Sedom and most likely others is placed wrong... On my map Sedom is southen placement of the salt sea to the left of it. Beith El and Ei is way up north so something seems to be wrong with the map.

I wonder if they've uncovered: 1. Any objects with writing on them dating to the period when Sodom was destroyed. 2. A burnt layer over everything dating to the period when Sodom was destroyed, and possibly any partially burnt meteoric material as well.

Well, if carbonized, the chair would have been destroyed in the destruction blast, so Moses could not have sat on it, as he lived several centuries later. Or was the chair burnt after Moses?

That makes no sense because Moses came after the destruction of Sodom...

The chair was from a later building placed on top of the ruins. Which puts in Moses era. The whole tiwn was not rebuilt, just the one structure within which the chair sat.

Is the Kikkar the impact crater of the meteor that struck Sodom and Gomorrah?

The Kikkar is apparently the circular-shaped alluvial plain area situated at the southern end of the Jordan River where it enters the valley area just north of the Dead Sea, into which it flows. I would imagine the Kikkar was noticed to be circular from the surrounding higher elevations due to the striking green color it probably had due to being well-watered agricultural land with the more usual rusty-brown dry terrain all around it.

Sodom is not mentioned at all in the Gospel of John. Don't believe me check it out in your Strong's exhaustive concordance. It's in the synopsis 3 gospel's (Matthews, Mark, and Luke, but in in John.
