the thing is, Soldier boy was losing a 1v1 with homelander. It's only when Butcher and Hughie stepped up, that's when, he was beat. Otherwise, he was 1v2ing both Butcher and Homelander. Same case with stormfront. She was soloing kimiko and starlight till maeve entered the picture. And she's also able to fly away like homelander did in that S3 fight. The radiation is doing jackshit tbh

I don't see how this was ever in question. SB is like a cross between Captain America and the Hulk, with radiation blast energy projection. He's gotta be the toughest super we've seen on The Boys. Keep in mind Butcher was amped up on V at the time too, and was helping Homelander eye blast him. The one time HL and Butcher were on the same page.

Don't get me wrong, I think the power levels are still inconsistent as hell. However, I think that's moreso to do with budget and effects limitations. We don't get a good sense of how strong some supes are compared to others because it's usually portrayed as just ambiguously really strong and probably able to go through a brick wall. Homelander and Soldier Boy have it extra bad because of this. However, one instance I can't excuse is when Kimiko is able to effortlessly snap A-Train's leg like a toothpick. This is the same guy who can output enough force with his legs to simply run through a person and survive that same impact with no problem.

How about this for some evidence that Soldier Boy didn't fight in WW2: Vought invented compound V, he was brought to America after World War 2 finished as part of Operation Paperclip. Vought gave Soldier Boy his powers. Unless Soldier Boy took a trip to Nazi Germany during the war for some private treatments from Vaught (or he can severely time travel) there is no way he participated in the war. I'm assuming Vought retconned his life history to market him as a war hero, same way they dread Homelander or Jack from Jupiter were aliens. That's their whole MO, yeah?

I don't think we know if Stormfront can actually utilize her flight in combat as well as Homelander. HL looks can float through the air effortlessly like he has real flight. SF seems more like she's propelling herself with her electricity powers like electromagnetic manipulation. If she has to focus her powers just to fly, and then again separately to attack? I don't think her flight will help her do much here other than flee

_TBH, I disagree_ _Maeve made a difference against Stormfront, but that same Maeve also damaged Homelander, something even Soldier Boy couldn't do by himself._ _Ryan cooked SF, but that was a heavily enraged Ryan with 0 self-control, and even the laser beam was seen being much larger than usual. So I think this enraged attack packed much more punch._ _Her eye got stabbed, but the rest of her body is fat more durable._ _And SB does not exactly tank his own attack. He does not cause explosions per se. He just creates an omnidirectional attack that spreads around him._ _And Ryan's Heat Vision is stronger than HL and Butcher's._

The electricity attacks in media are heavily underrated. Even if not damaging someone, it'll fuck up their muscle coordination, possibly their lungs and heart, since both go off electrical impulses and let's not forget seizures.
