Good job girl. Of all the documentary regarding this issue, I love yours your are real detailed. Thank God for Chichi. I know they (SA) knew she was on the verge of winning the crown. To me it was not a pity win. she stound out of all the other contestants, her walk her body, Chichi and Nyekachi (miss Rivers). I think Miss River has been given the opportunity previously. The vote counts, it just to fast track the top 3 most voted contestant to be fast track to the top ten. Which helped Miss Kwara, Mrs. Edo and Miss Rivers, someone saying votes don't count is a lie. I voted and it was opened and transparent, up to the extent that you could monitor it as the votes drops. Chidinma's win is deserving. South Africans knew it that she was the best top. That was the reason for the attack and nothing else.

I’m one of the South African who voted for Chidima.. she is half Mozambique and Nigerian. Born in South Africa. The rules do mention that you need to be a South African citizen. It helps if at least ONE of her PARENTS were legally in South Africa. She would have been safe to continue. But none of her parents came out to at least clarify that they have legal documents. So that makes her identity non South African. I was more than excited to see her win Miss Nigeria. The only people that know the truth are her parents who would rather watch their child suffer in the public eye. But I wish her the best. All these xenophobic lies need to stop and we need to ask her parents to tell us the truth. So that this girls future can be blessed. Her story is heartbreaking. Africans fighting over racism on a matter that can be clarified by her parents.

Qualifying means that the person would still have to apply for citizenship upon the18th birthday. Did she apply? No, did she already have a citizenship? Yes, now the question is HOW? @mbhekitembe21794 ай бұрын
@@TshekoengjanMaje Where did you lose the trail of thought? Nobody said she must answer as she did not commit any crime. The law is simple, nobody, innocent or not, should be enriched by proceeds of crime. Hypothetically, if you inherit a motor vehicle from your grandfather, only to discover that the vehicle you are driving was stolen from someone else many years ago, as innocent as you may be, you will not be allowed to keep the car, because it is a proceed of crime. The law does not seek to punish the innocent, but it precludes people from benefiting from crime, be it committed by them or someone else. If you steal a diamond ring and give it to your girlfriend whom you later marry and sire children, should it be found that the diamond was stolen from you, your wife will have to give it back, though she is stolen. She will not be charged for any wrongdoing, but she will not be allowed to keep the offspring of stolen citizenship. The law does not operate on pity, it works on standard principles and facts.

To be honest I don't think it's a bad thing at all that Chidima won. She was already a finalist in the S.A peagent so she is not lacking in ability!!! No infact I think its pretty tactical and smart for her to win because if you think of it; its pretty difficult to remember the faces or names of these models because unlike supermodels like (Naomi etc) they serve a short time and have a limited amount of time to be showcased and to compete internationally... with Chidima however though unfortunately through traumatic events her name is known out here. Her story being one that tugs on the loose ends of a lot of problems we face as Africans, as migrants as black people definitely makes her a potential icon. Nigeria has won Ms Universe before I believe but when Ms Chidima goes for the international peagants we will as different people in Africa and in the diaspora be keeping an eye out for her. We all love an underdog story and we all love to see small victories we can't achieve for ourselves be enacted by people who look like us. Ms Chidima just has to deliver on the Charisma and we will not be forgetting her soon. I dare even say the world of peagentism has been an archaic carcass of irrelevance that could benefit from some light being shed on it even if its just by a significantly small increase of viewers...also maybe with this little light we might remember to actually think about the meaning of peagents as a whole and talk about whether a change needs to come about in certain ways the judgements of beauty are handled
