I'm sure it also means he can actually go somewhere and try new things. I feel like they wouldn't have let him move off or around the same thing all the time. I believe that werent exactly using him as a work horse and not paying him but they were afraid of changing format. This probably made his work feel stale. Its a thing that happens to a lot of show hosts, they get bored of the same thing. I mean, the idea behind this channel is that Kyle escaped the Void where he was "trapped". Now that he has thing channel he can cover anything and go anywhere and act however he wants. That's why now it "really matters" because this time its really him. But alas, we may never know. Kyle doesn't seem interested in the topic anyway

It was discussed what to call it even DURING the war. And World War 1 was pretty high on the list, since they figured it wouldn't be the last. They called it 'the war to end all wars' in the beginning, but weren't nearly as optimistic once the war was going on. WWI was used pretty early, as early as 1918 or even 1917.

Hey Kyle, Love the Show! I liked that you still showed the information in a similar way, but found some of the backgrounds to be too "busy" and were distracting to my attention. I appreciated the pared down presentations in the "BS" series because I knew where to focus most of the time. I will still subscribe since I know this is in its infancy and want you to succeed! Change is hard, but the hardest part is just doing it and getting it out there.

Vincent McCue I am totally with you on this one. I really enjoyed that the other channel was only busy as Kyle used more and more markers to elaborate. Well, this video reminded me of a book i started writing back in high school 20+ years ago lol. Plane crashes on a hidden island and the survivors find an ancient tower, filled with strange telescopes. They used concepts of light bending due to strong gravitational forces to be able to see the earth itself in the past. An ancient race of superintelligent 'observers' created it so that any point in human history could be directly observed, and the survivors realize the power and danger of being able to see past historical events as they were instead of how we are told they were by history books. Of course, i never got more than like 10 pages into writing it, but funny how i had totally forgotten about it until seeing this (since it also references using the practice of effectively viewing earth through very distant means to see it's own past)

Another fun hubble fact: we actually improve the image quality of the hubble space telescope by doing something called dithering. The imaging chip on the telescope may not be able to see an object but the telescope can move such that when it moves objects seen move a fraction of of the length of a pixel. This improves the resolution by having objects sit over two pixels thus artificially improving the image resolution when you add the images together.

Hey Kyle, love the video and the new direction you're taking this, especially with the new production levels (love the animations). Only small suggestion I'd make: maybe go a little easier on the background music, the high paced music to me was a little distracting when not actively focussing on what you're saying - which happens a lot since my attention has a tendency to drift. If you could maybe look into a background track that's a little less hectic and a little slower paced, that would be a huge boon imo. Nevertheless, great video and I hope this channel soon reaches the following the old Because Science channel had. This format has always been a highlight of my week and I'm looking forward to getting even more of it in the future!
