Gwynne does have some great advice. Before I worked for myself, I did notice that the emotions of a leader in any field during high tense situations makes all the difference. Also when fellow employees are focused on doing a great job instead of the negatives then the work environment is much happier. My fellow employees often fell into it's not my job attitude which brought down not only their work ethic but also the ethic of those around them. The difference between a good leader and a bad one often depended on their reactions to problems and developing bias.
