Keep in mind, this disease affected the young people the most, because their bodies didn't know how to react to such disease, and so the immune systems overreacted, which is how the patients died. Because they did it on purpose. To put Spain in a negative light. It's racist actually. But we know how much people bash on anything Spanish specially from northern Europe. It's a passive way to discredit the image of a country. Why not call the current virus the Chinese flu?.

2:00 Wait, you wanna tell me that back in 1920s 30% of world population infected was 2 billion? Wouldnt that make 100% of world population in 1920 a whole 6 billion? Wasnt there like closer to 2 Billion people as total world population in 1920s? So 1,9 billion infected is infection rate of 96% not 30%

Aubrey GDJ: Advances in public health, as well as medical management of critically ill patients have progressed immensely since 1918. We also have vaccines in development, which were impossible for labs to make in 1918. The COVID-19 pandemic is similar to the Spanish flu pandemic, but there’s a lot more we can do, than we could in 1918!!!

Little known fact: Some of the soldiers from America/Canada in WW1 and WW2 were carrying wooden boxes that were infected with a wood fungus. That fungus survived and now trees along canals in the south of France are infected and dying. Nature is mighty.
