potion thing is not good at all nagura. its just cost saving. u can still use potions yes the pot will go for 1 hour not for 1.5 hours for example but then you can use that embolishment to something that will actually increase your dps.

@@northwindx79 Potion is not a phial bro. Potions last 20 seconds and for example a druid's incarn lasts 30 seconds, so popping the potion with this embelishment is very good.

For example, Potion of ultimate power lasts 30 sec with a 5min cd. It isn't a gold saver, but 15sec more of "ultimate power" every 5 min (or for whichever bosses you pop it on)

9:50 They may not be "called" embellishments. But they do however have the same effect so to speak. Darkmoon "Deck box" crafting for example, Sigils. Changes the way it shuffles. Effectively an embellishment.

the crafting order limit can be bypassed by every crafter aslong there is less than 2 hours left on the work order. so if the crafter alrdy hit the limit he can still accept public work orders with less than 2 hours left.

Crafters can fill an unlimited number of personal (and guild?) work orders per day. They can only fill 5 public work orders per day unless those work orders only have a short duration left on the listing. The added bonus of personal work orders is that you can specify a required quality level. Public work orders you cannot.

I could be wrong but: I made chronocloth gloves which has a similar set “buff.” There it clearly states the “ripple in time” adds a haste proc. The embellishment might not be the same, but it does say “a ripple in time” just like the gloves do

even if bronzed is ST only, having a 418 weapon immediately its a bigger gain than ANY embelishment. So if its the best one to put on weapon, thats still what you should do, having a higher ilvl weapon will help aoe more regardless

embelishment and ilvl are NOT connected. you can have embelishments on any ilvl crafted gear. you need sparks to craft epic gear and you need 2 sparks to craft 2h weapons. you need the raid reagent primal infusion to craft 418 ilvl gear which is again not in any way linked to embelishments.

@@moos5221 It is linked tho since it makes the recipe more difficult. So at some point you might be forced to chose between a higher ilvl (+3) or an embelishment if you don't have the absolute max skill (lvl 100 + all specs points for that type of item + optimal crafting gear etc)

issue is supply and demand is opposite of what people are thinking as the system really doesnt go properly active tille the reset. No one has mats to upgrade the level and sparks are 1 per person people dont want to make 389 gear when the spark is so rare compared to the recipes that make them or that crafters on the orders cant really be trusted to be that absurd person who you know can get you that flawless piece so most people have their spark in their bank waiting for the rest of the crafting system to open. TLDR supply of crafters with one of the top end crafts is very high , the demand of people wanting crafts is very low as the spark is 1000x more valueable than the recipe currnetly . We should start to see people getting capped on a combination of their rare recipe and the higher end crafting tools starting next week and likely most people likely going to see getting capped in january as people will been able to make another order after having gotten the mats for the higher end stuff.

Seeing the Gold cap people complain about order prices being too low and non of them seem to have any idea how rare sparks are so even befoer watching it I am glad this video is being made as I can send people there way to understand crafting orders not really made for the first few weeks of the game but for week 3 onward.

The order commissions are too low for what we generally see on the table. I’ve seen people asking for crafts for recipes that are a 30-40-50 knowledge investment to get and they are offering 2K gold as a tip. To get that much knowledge this early many people are multiple millions of gold deep in the professions.

@@Sadistichippo most professions have people paying millions to get to 50 are making a massive mistake in 2 weeks of crafting 50 can likely occur with 0 gold involved and be at 25 skill. As you get 29 from artifacts and master 10 for 100 resources than 2 weeks of random looting and the other quests along with likely getting at minimum 3 eggs quickly and 3 more knowledge from DMF all that takes maybe 2 hours of game play total and than you have the first crafts to get to 25 with basic mats you got doing that. The demand is on the crafters side right now not the people wanting stuff made people will want to start making 400+ I level stuff next week when those mats star dropping and avoid recreating. The other thing missing here is the elemental neck doesn't drop till next week and many classes that's there his for the season so you have sparks the road block int he whole supply chain. The order system I swear to you will pick up but no one's getting rich this week unless they win the lottery of someone not understanding that the spark today is 100000x more valuable than anything else involved in the craft.

@@tocu98 the spark gear isn’t the stuff that takes the most knowledge investment, you get the 2H axe with only 21 points. But look at the pickaxes and the blacksmith hammers. The top tier ones people are tipping 5K for and they take a shitload of knowledge to be able to craft and that knowledge isn’t transferable to other crafts. So each one is very specialised.

The stuff that is cross profession certainly should be paid a lot but I just assume most people are getting green stuff till later as the mats for the blue cross faction stuff is not cheap. If BS do make the hammer I expect the demand for that item to be maybe 5% of blacksmiths with 95% not caring or just specing to learn it themselves

Does anyone know why your crafting skill drops a TON when you go for a recraft? Is it intended? Kinda makes it almost impossible to recraft a piece at a much high ilvl. I crafted engineer bracers early on to get the battle ress tinker put in them but now when I go to recraft the bracers, my skill is literally 43 points lower than if I was to craft a brand new piece? Seems like a bug or a oversight by Blizzard, if anyone knows why/how to fix, thanks.

did you use 3* materials in your craft and when recrafting? If not the game calculates some median of material quality and that can decrease your skill

Every crafted item "remembers" the mats used to craft it. So if you crafted something with rank3 mats, it will give you more skill than an item which were made with rank2 mats only. You can give it a go and notice that if you recraft an item with rank3 pieces, even if it stays the same quality, you get more and more skill for it until it reaches the level of being crafted on solely rank3 mats

Great video, just wanted to correct one thing. Crafters have a limit on public work orders they can do, but they have an unlimited amount of personal work orders they are allowed to do. So find a good crafter that can craft what you want and they should be able to do it for you when ever. :D

Fully spec'd into a slot, with no further upgrades to base or bonus skill possible at present, with the mats that take an item to 418, even with a greater Illustrious Insight, the difficulty of the recipes I've seen that exist now, exceed professions' skill to guarantee a quality 5 ilvl 418 item without an Inspiration proc.

I did this on Beta just a few days ago. You mightve missed the extra skill points you get from the "General" specialization tab that most professions have. You get around 40 skill points by putting in 30 points in the first talent. For JC it's called "Jewelers Toolset Mastery"

I went with transmog as a priority, I stopped caring so much about ilvl and repeated content like Mythic+ in Legion. Plus I will not be getting any materials for Concentrated Primal Infusion so its a dead end. The point of crafting should be to exist outside of that type of content.

It obviously has. But it’s pointless. Your "above 90% health" uptime will vary so much from dungeon to dungeon, pull to pull, boss to boss, that trying to sim an average uptime is stupid. There will be fights where it’s good and fights where it’s trash. This making it not the most interesting embelishment to craft on your 2 first and only items. Once you are unlimited on sparks you can get one, but it’s not the smartest choice until then.
