man, i know its not fair compare to games to movies, but this game did what all of the spiderman movies couldn't, except for spiderverse animatied movies, they made harry likeable, mj isnt annoying(well for some people, but she isn't ramini spidey annoying) they made venom intimidating, they showed actual use for the symbiote suit, like the symbiote suit making clothes, for peter or venom making wings,

So do you know who Knull is? the amount of setup/Easter eggs/ and more is actually kinda nuts. Kraven killing spider-man is sorta a thing from the original comic with black suit, so much of the story was both on point and unique to this universe. Also in the comics this universe has been made cannon as one of the multiverse which obviously we got the Easter egg moment when you collect all the spider bots. That all said i agree with quite a bit of what you said however i will say i felt that the game was actually about 5 to 10 hours to short. I think if they would have slowed down the progression of the story with after black suit acquired that rather than immediately fighting kravens goons we have to be mild mannered peter/spider for some missions against i don't know escaped kingpin and his guys that it stretches out the transitions that felt to fast but also adds another layer of what a symbiote is doing to spider-man in terms of powers and maybe some key story elements with "Their" rage.

Honestly the only problem I have with the game is Kraven himself. They turned him into a stupid brute, he’s very smart in the comics and he’s figured out Parker’s identity and I wish they could’ve atleast done him some form of Justice.

I wish the end was a little stronger, and peter changed slower. I would have had harry die because of Pete, and thats what would drive Norman insane to be the goblin. It looks like Harry is going to be the goblin because Norman is going to give him the G-serum to wake him up from his vegetable state. I think the stories were Peters life is miserable because he is Spiderman are always the better stories, so I may be biased in wanting a more harsh ending. Idk if like what happened to Kraven yet or not, but they made him such a good villain. I feel like the venom city takeover was a little out there, but not enough to be jarring. One of my favorite games in recent memory though

I definitely feel like Harry dying would have been a huge emotional ending for all the characters, and yeah would’ve made Norman‘s motivation a lot more realistic

Miles new costume towards the ending of the story was the worst thing I’ve seen in some time. Whoever thought that was a good design, needs to be fired.

I agree with you in most of the points but tbh the final act was expected to be this way. The emotional beats were in the dialogue when Peter fought venom, resisting the urge to fight him and trying to stop venom made it so much more personal. And I love that they chose to have harry as venom instead of Eddie because of the deep emotional connection they have. For example we had: Peter Vs Miles, Peter Vs MJ and Peter Vs Harry(essentially). The pattern was they were fighting each other which honestly is simple yet brilliant

I honestly didn't think about that! having peter confront everyone he had been hurting, ending with venom harry is a really good pattern. the dialogue in the MJ fight was especially emotional, scream was just ripping into Peter
