This was definitely a good video. I can relate being the only child, soft spoken, and an introvert. I came back on KZbin to work on my communication and presentation skills

Thank you for sharing this. I am a new creator on KZbin and this is really helping me maintain awareness and control over my ego. I just watched your first video and was blown away at how much you have improved as a communicator. Your new videos are awesome! Thank you for setting a good example for me. I have a lot to learn and it can really be intimidating getting started. But you are inspiring me to have more courage to move forward. Thank you!

1. Motivation for making videos has shifted from seeking success or popularity to personal growth, improving communication skills, and enjoying the process. 2. Comparing oneself to bigger creators led to burnout and frustration but now focus on consistency, self-expression, and building a small but meaningful community. 3. Start KZbin channels not for views but for self-development and the opportunity to document personal progress.

I 100% agree with you! My motto is: Be yourself, believe in yourself, and listen to yourself. This is great information, and I just subscribed. Thanks for allowing KZbinrs like myself to follow your journey. Much appreciated!

Sometimes life brings you what you need to here where ever you are in your life journey. Here I am contemplating whether or not to have a youtube channel of my own, then I see this.... Thanks brother! It helped👍🏻

It's a lovely perspective to see making videos as a tool for personal development, your watchers grow as you grow. I'm going to only speak about what I'm passionate about from now on. Thank you.

Hey 👋 Thanks for sharing this. I’m introverted as well. I love doing KZbin but have always had a hard time (the bigger I’ve gotten) with the random mean commenter. They can be brutal. It’s tough to read. I don’t think I’ll ever develop a “thick skin” to that.

I remember MKBHD said that you should always make videos which you would watch yourself. And although I do like Ali Abdaal's video production but I also love these simple sit-down videos with no heavy editing. Also because it's difficult to do that on your own haha. So keep it up!

I went through a phase of editing my videos in that style - but it felt inauthentic and, to be honest, I don’t enjoy it. I’ve been way more successful since I stopped editing to be honest!

Keep it up! I love your storytelling style and how clearly you communicate your opinions. The way you inspire creators deserves more followers, but people haven’t discovered it yet, I guess.

Really nicely put James. I know it takes a lot of drive to push through especially with less number of subscribers, but everybody has to go through that phase. Kudos to you for putting out these videos.

I think KZbin works for people that are actually passionate about what they want to share to the world and about content creation. If you're in here just to blow up and get big, then it's not worth the hustle cause you won't enjoy the process and it shows in the final product, people won't get passionate about your videos if you're not even passionate about it

Anything that you hate is unsustainable in my experience. This works if you love it - because you will accept making videos that get zero views for the love of the craft. Eventually you will find success anyways
