I think the logic that daima will get it's own marketable form is probably accurate, but I think it far more likely it will be a vegito form/a very small chance of a fusion with piccolo. I think the join bugs are probably meant to be a chekhov's gun and it's why they keep mentioning the revive bugs even when they don't need to use them. Also the fact that they can fuse up to three people seems like an intentional difference from the fusion dance/potara and might have been done as a facilitator for something particular they had in mind.

Issue with SSJ4 being in Daima is it would toss even MORE issues into the Super timeline. Some kind of special "demon world only" transformation might happen, but that kind of cheapens the form, imo. But, if it is the only way we ever get the form in canon, bring it on, I guess.

Unpopular opinion, but I personally don't ever want to see SSJ4 canon until either after DBS takes place after end of Z or a new series that takes place after DBS is made. If Daima wants a new form that everyone will love, it should be completely unrelated to SSJ4 and it should be it's own unique demon realm exclusive form, because I feel like the demon realm has the potential to make a form just as, if not, more unique than SSJ4. Also, I'm pretty sure no one here wants SSJ4 to be exclusive to one specific realm that Goku nearly never goes to in the main story

One annoying part about Vegeta's SSJ3 form and hypothetical Goku SSJ4's is that because Daima happens before Super then obviously we won't get to see them much after Daima is over. It would be cool if something happened after "SSJ4" (or the new equivalent) that foreshadowed the "Orange"/"Super Namek" transformation for Piccolo. Heck, even making Piccolo the strongest for a couple of episodes would be cool (considering he's the one doing the less fighting as of now) and would be a welcome twist that would keep things fresh and interesting. You don't have to be the protagonist to be the strongest indefinitely. In Digimon (another shonen) Angemon was also significantly stronger than the protagonists at the time he appeared.... And these are the things that keep anime interesting. I'm still expecting to be disappointed and have a boring ending in which either Goku or kid Gogeta saves everyone. I'd like to have something different this time around.

I have a theory that could explain a possible new form and why it might be temporary. So, Daima introduced that machine that collects life force from demons, and we know it might also be possible to do the opposite (transferring the collected life force to someone). What if the team has the opportunity to transfer that demonic life force to Goku? It could influence his transformations, resulting in an SSJ4 or something similar... And it would be temporary because they would probably want to return the life force, extracting it from Goku using the machine and then turning him back into an adult with a wish instead. If that's the case, and Goku really does turn into SSJ4, it would explain why his body changes to an adult form. Lots of “ifs” and speculation, but if it has to happen and needs to be temporary to maintain consistency, I think this could be a way to introduce the form based on the information we currently have.

I think people are missing a major plot in the story, and that was the moment Vegeta stood up to Kid Buu, to buy Goku time to fully charge his SSJ 3 form.... Vegeta did not die, so the boost he received after that beat down from Buu most likely pushed him to the point where he unlocked SSJ3 shortly after, keeping up with Goku like he typically always does. But that is just my theory. I'm not saying it's not tied into GT, but I don't think Vegeta achieving SSJ3 means SSJ4 will be in Daima. SSJ3 Vegeta is something everyone wanted to just SEE for a really long time, it was all fan service.

I have a theory that might work: Saiyans being half demon. Since pointy ears confirm a beings' demon inheritance, the saiyan's Oozaru form fits the bill. And they may be in a situation that requires them to fuze their demon side with their base selves to overcome a new enemy. I got a feeling it will be similar to SS4 but won’t be SS4. Sorta like you said “SS3 was the big form of Z” well, SS4 is the iconic big form for GT and Ultra Instinct is the big iconic form of Super. I feel like Daima will have its own big iconic form unique to it. While I love SS4 as my favorite form in the franchise it’s the main selling point exclusive to GT. I think it will remain exclusive to GT. However being the 40th Anniversary I’d love to see something for Super Saiyan 4 as SS4 is the best way to celebrate a 40th anniversary. I’d also love above everything else to see a SS4 with Nimbus and Power Pole since SS4 was originally to honor the design of the Monkey King and to celebrate Dragonball’s roots and origins this 40th anniversary especially since Akira just passed it would be fitting to have SS4 return since it was the form that was used as the sendoff to the franchise and this would be a send off to Akira. It also brings things full circle which is what I loved about GT is that it honored the origins of Journey to the West, the Monkey King, Kid Goku from Dragon Ball, the original transformation being the Oozaru (hey, pointed ears) the original Super Saiyan form and all the lore perfectly mixed together with the Saiyan’s original hairstyle and color mixed in which they have since birth it’s all mixed into this perfect combination which is Super Saiyan 4. SS4 is symbolic and it would honor this anniversary and sendoff better than anything. I still sorta doubt the actual SS4 form will get used outside of GT but I am hoping SS4 returns and is given the proper love and respect it deserves.

The big issue I have with Daima is that Goku and Vegeta didn't get their tails back. And they could've had kid Gohann back in action for peak DBZ nostalgia but noooooo. All 3 could've had their tails back. Such missed potential there. But I'm still loving Daima despite this.

i forgot to say this last time. Goku literally beat vegeta in a sparring match in the first episode of daima, and thats when vegeta had SS3.....so how is vegeta stronger again? lol

Would make sense as a form only when he’s little because as seen in gt, goku has the ability to regrow his tail when turned back into a kid. But when you see him as an adult he doesn’t have the tail he did when he was little so he probably couldn’t go ssj4(post gt timeskip).So once kid goku turns back into an adult in daima he’ll lose the ability to turn ssj4 and why we don’t see it in super. And it would make perfect sense he can’t do it anymore because he doesn’t have the primal instinct with the tail and is more calm as an adult without it and why he was able to go ssb and eventually ssbkk because of not having a tail. Same with vegeta, I wouldn’t doubt we got an ssj4 vegeta too if we got goku

9:32 the reason for the inclusion of Katsoyoshi Nakatsuru is that his Artstyle is spot on tto Toriyamas hes as faithful as it gets. Well its true he designed the form it could be any new form of inclusion is directly looked over and possibly Chmaged by Toriyama because well he made a few Changes. In gokus design vegeta and literally everyone hes the character designer kind of.but like yeah if they giving vegeta ssj3 which was the kast thing wed expect ssj4 is like now ot has to happen

I want Daima to be the one to explain why Piccolo gets the Orange form later in Super, as I don't see Goku getting SS4 in Daima, any form he obtains now should either be a temporary form, or a definitive form that he'll only be able to fully use in the future using his True Ultra Instinct form to be able to use that form outside the Demon Realm. And only then the fusion between this form and True Ultra Instict could become what we know as SS4.

I like that you mentioned Vegeta had more potential and is naturally stronger than Goku. I would love to see a video of yours going over things like -If Zamasu or Ginyu took over Vegeta’s body instead of Goku’s -Who’s naturally stronger and who’s better at Ki control and balance of spirit and maximizing their bodies potential -How powerful Vegeta would be if he had Goku’s training Etc. Zamasu, Ginyu, the Saiyan’s power levels at birth, Tagoma, things said by the Yardrats, things the many trainers Goku has had have said, etc give a lot of hints and insight into what the tier list of body potential vs Ki control. Goku black is stronger than Goku because either a. Zamasu’s Ki is more balanced and powerful than Goku’s b. He’s a Goku from a year in the future so he’s stronger c. A bit of both. I think is a. Because when he first fights with Goku he’s weaker than him but very quickly adapts and forces Goku to use SSj2 while he’s still in Base. So he came into that fight weaker but left stronger than Goku. He’s a god and not only already has god ki but has had it his entire life and been trained to use it by not just gods but the most talented of gods. Shin can one shot Namek Freeza. Goku went SSj when fighting Zamasu. During super. So, Zamasu probably solos Z. But the gap between him and Goku was hilariously large to the point it offends him. If he took Vegeta’s body instead of Goku’s it would be over. I haven’t seen the Gohan Black what if but I assume he’s OP as fuck.

honestly idk why daima couldn't just be after super. u could easily just say that because they were turned to kids they weren't capable of using god ki or the fact that they were in the demon realm could've restricted it's use.

I honestly prefer the Saiyan main characters progress in forms of power that revolve around their saiyan biology like SSJ1-4 and perhaps beyond. I prefer the various super saiyan transformations over UI, MUI, Beast, Ultra ego and SSG. I think those forms are neat but I like the original Saiyan transformations, including SSJ4, more.

Vegeta only best goku at a transformation in Super when Beerus slapped Bulma. In GT he was able to turn faster in ssj4 because he could already control his Oozaru form

@SaiyanScholar for Oozaru it´s genetic, high class saiyens seem to easily being able to control themself ( goku and gohan don´t remember shit when they transform but vegeta do) - We don´t know since how long vegeta can use ssj3, plus learning ≠ discovering without no information. - Like I said, we saw that vegeta could already control his oozaru since dbz saiyan arc so him going ssj4 just after transforming into Oozaru is logic, I can´t fight genetics. - Vegeta never bested goku at ssj blue, the manga prove it. Stacking a technique on a form doesn't mean the form itself has evolved. You've just improved yourself to handle multiple things. Vegeta evolved the form further than Goku has.

Imagine if, instead, in the first demonic world we found great apes that populate it like the Krakens of the second world. So, the Saiyans would derive from monkeys. It wouldn't be a bad idea, and at a certain point a hairless monkey is born, with only a tail. The mother, or any other individual with a heart, decides to take it to another planet to save it. Here, the monkey conquers the planet at a young age, proclaiming himself king, etc. etc. The idea, in this case, to see SSJ4 could be that the sky, as seen in the fight between the Majin and the Tamagami, has been darkened to weaken the monkeys. It is such a powerful moon for the monkey race that it can awaken the dormant primal instincts of the Saiyans, even if they lack a tail.from there a golden ozaru ssj3 would come out, the monkeys in the meantime not being used to the power of the moon break everything including the gates that separate the demonic worlds but when they reach the first world one they lose power because the moon rays don't arrive, it would make sense after the fight to grant goma's wish to make all the heroes forget everything
