Why Sustainable Forestry and Selective Logging Matters

Here at GL Veneer we are truly committed to the sustainable cause. The Forest Stewardship Council or commonly known as FSC is one of the original pioneers of forest certification. GL Veneer was one of the first hundred to join 25 years ago when the organization was formed. To be FSC certified means that we offer products that come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. By using wood products we are essentially reducing the greenhouse effect caused by carbon emissions.

You just inspired me to want to sculpt(whittle) a wood tooth for the new crown I need, as well as a plethora of new ideas with veneers, instead of solid wood. How beautiful recycled paper pulp of my own paperwork messes once resolved, with an actual wood veneer, will be for a sculpture !
