Simple but powerful idea. I've had scenarios where I refused to take partials and a profitable trade turned to a losing trade. I get angry and guess what happens next? Revenge trading! So taking partials helps to improve our trading psychology. How do we know where to take partials? Take it when a market makes a measured move from the previous swing.

If your capital is small, it is wiser to fund a cent account as it helps to manage your trades better and close as many partials as you want.

@@solofelix1 Exness, Fbs and some other brokers offers cent account, you can create an account from there. 1usd = 100cent, so you can determine your lot size based on the amount you are willing to loose per trade with respect to SL .

Hi, considering you are going with a 1% risk per trade you have to consider the fact that once you get partial, lets say 50% of the profits, the running position doesnt have the same lots. meaning that in order to get 2% of a gain with a 1% risk, you need to aim for 4:1 RR assuming that you will take 50% once you get to the 2:1 RR, cause at that point you only run with 0.5% of your rusk because you secured the 0.5 others.
