She genuinely wanted to know about this issue and we both dont have much knowledge on this topic. We just spoke about our experiences in our lifes...lets not upset anyone... contructive criticism is welcome but I dont accept hatred 🙂.

The Portuguese, Dutch, English, Armenian and people from other parts of the world came to TN.. How did they manage?? They did not force their language... They learnt the local language and helped to improve.. The Portuguese developed a first print press in porto novo, Jhon Gilchrist a proffessor at Fort william calcutta found Hindi language.. why North Indians can't learn Tamil ?? But then, who says they don't learn, most North people live in TN speak good Tamil and the Tamils in North speak good hindi and many other languages. Where is the problem?? No, we don't want to learn Hindi. That's our choice. We love English and we love to learn English. That's our choice. If northies come to the south, let them deal with it. And no, Hindi is not a national language. If we go to the north, we will deal with it. We don't want to waste time learning another language which we don't want. We would rather learn science or other subjects of our choice in that time or just simply enjoy our time when we're free.

Well, don't complain that people dont speak tamil when you visit states in North,West or east ...Since when did ignorance become a symbol of pride?...How s not knowing something a cool thing?... Its like saying" I dont know the basics of finance,I am so proud" I dont know to draft emails.I am so proud... Makes you look dumb when u take pride in not knowing something ..
@rajw30039 сағат бұрын
@@sundars8031 You have given a series of wrong analogies. Writing emails or basics of finances are life skills that everyone needs to know. Language is different. I don't know Japanese or German too. So what? I am good at English and one global language along with your mother tongue is good enough to survive globally. To reply to your first para, when did me or Tamils ever complain about Northies not speaking in Tamil? We don't care. We just say Northies don't speak in Tamil when a Tamil goes there in argument to make people understand what reality is and to put things in perspective. When Northies made an attempt to make Hindi a national language, most part of South India disagreed. Because they are making a language of their convenience and pride national, which South Indians have nothing to do with. We know how Northies look at South languages and this is what they get in return. And when we stand for what we believe in, ignoring imposition and dominance, we will proudly say, "We don't know Hindi and we're proud of that". By the way, when someone wants to improve themselves, they will learn something ahead of them or superior to them to make themselves better. For example, I may learn languages like French or Japanese, which gives us better professional exposure in those well developed countries with civilized people. Why would any Tamil want to learn Hindi if this is the case? Hence, we're proud we don't and we don't want to speak Hindi. If you're a Tamil, either you need to work on your self respect or you may look dumb like this in your own delusional world. The word is far bigger than your Hindi. Seems like you have already fallen for the North Indian propaganda. You need to work on yourself.

Learning more languages not only increases our knowledge but also gives our mind a broader outlook, thereby enabling us to appreciate the skills and talents of people from other States and countries. Good interaction there...very sincere youtubers... Both of you are uninhibited and pronounce in English very well. I guess you are trying to popularise spoken English which is good. Seek feedback on your grammar, there is scope for improvement. The problem of Hindi has only one need. That is government correspondences between state and Centre. My suggestion for India would be to make Hindi compulsory for government servants (central and state). That is about 3 crores of Indians out of the 1.4 Bn. Please popularise this solution and put a break to this language politics. Thanks. Good Luck

Punjabi, Gujrati, Maharashtrian can't avoid Hindi because they watch Hindi movie/serial etc. right from Childhood. Some South Indians learn Hindi but they can't speak. They can only read & write. Dear Madam Thousands of people come to Tamil Nadu from the Northern States for work. How do they manage to work here without knowing Tamil? Because they know that they are going to Tamil Nadu to work and earn and not to learn Tamil and can pick up the basic words quickly. Same is the case with Tamils who work in North India. Lakhs and lakhs of Tamil people in Mumbai and Delhi speak Hindi. Necessity will push a person to learn any language. Indians who live in European countries learn the local language without any fuss.

Tamil Vowels and Consonants are called as Soul and Body. The grammar is based on how a Soul and Body involve in creating sound. For example a soul cannot directly contact another Soul, it has to contact through Body only. Similarly Body cannot create sound by its own. Body is just a medium/material. The Tamil vowels are common for any language in the world. Example B,C,D,G,P,T,V has E sound in it and F,H,J,K,L,M,N,S,X,Z has A sound in it and Q has U sound in it and Y has I sound in it. W - double U (UU) it has U sound. R has “ah” sound but this is not in english as a separate vowel. In fact “ah” is the base for all proper sounds created from mouth. Do not consider shh, iff sound which, these are not in Tamil.You can create lot more sounds like these from your mouth, but those cannot be taken as proper sounds since you cannot have a proper consonent(body) position. Yes, Consonants are just positions of the mouth/tongue/lips. If you tell “ah” continuously meanwhile close your mouth and open you will get “Amma”. If you tell “ah” continuously and stop while you close your mouth and start again while you open you will get “Appa”. “iP” and “iM” are same positions only difference is “iM” is nasal. Similarly Vallinam and Mellinam in Tamil follows. The Tamil grammar/language is based on how Soul and Body interacts. Tamil: Uyir ezhuthukkal (soul letters) are natural sounds that Humans make. Examples... ஆ Ah - when one gets pain ஈ Ee - when one laughs ஊ Uu - when one drops unexpectedly (whoops) ஏ Hey - In anger or when one alerts (Hey! watch out) ஐ ii - when one exclaims ஓ Oo - when one understands (Oh oh! now I understand) ஒள Ouu - when one fears of sudden pain (Ouch!) These expressions are common to any Human irrespective of language or region. Because these are natural sounds from inside us out of natural expressions. That is why these sounds are called as Uyir (soul) in Tamil.
