Why tank lean comes with the savage?

Two things I have found that work with my cen gst 7 .7 and lst found it on a forum years ago was too put a one way valve in line with the exhaust going to the what happens when the fuel tank is there is more pressure in that exhaust pressure can't keep up with the fuel dropping by putting a one-way valve in the exhaust line it stops the pressure escaping the tank at a constant pressure ,and the other think I do it's get my tune with only half a tank off full ,so when the tank is full it will be rich which is good as engine is cold then at half way will be perfect and just before your nearly out off fuel it will be lean then it's time too fuel up again ,just my way off doing it ,nice video too

I'm gonna be working on a losi fuel cell bracket for the savage. I run losi 4.0 tanks on my savage because it has a clunk inside. So whe. The truck flips over it doesn't starve fuel.

wouldn't the lean issue essentially come down to the tune and any air in the fuel line? Sure pipes can affect the tune, but to show consistent comparisons maybe try the same motor/fuel/tank/fuel lines then test with different pipes.

That's what I did. It's the same motor. I just removed the anodized color from the head. Same gas/fuel and tank. It's not just air in the line. The better pipes have a better back pressure system. All my higher-quality pipes take more power to push air and the stinger does not have a big hole in the inside of the stinger like the stock pipes. Look down the stinger and also take into effect the rubber coupler that's going to change size based on heat and vibration. This will not help keep the pressure level stable.

And yes you can tune it out so it's not going to run lean but with a better system it's less tune time and more run time.

To really fix the lean issue is you tune it at 1/2 tank
