Right on track! For someone with an IQ on the borderline low end and someone who is under the autism spectrum, I definitely know the feeling of being dealing with incompetent school faculty. Good to know I am not a lone on feeling this!

I was diagnosed with dyscalculia and dyspraxia in school. My English comprehension reading and writing wasn't brilliant but through some extra work I got it to a standard that was ok. My dyspraxia doesn't seem to be visible anymore. I got into martial arts and working out and it's seemed to of corrected my bad co-ordination. I can catch things and judge distances absolutely fine now. My maths is still appalling. I wouldn't call my memory bad but It's highly selective. Many people who knew me from school would just call me stupid but I believe I just have a brain geared to specific things. You are what you are. Focus on what you have and stop trying to ice skate uphill with what you know you can't do. Life is too short.

Don't fret about your IQ. I know people say that, but seriously thoughts and ideas from all perspectives are valuable regardless of intelligence or any other trait.

Reading. I started off doing 20 minutes a day 6 days a week. Now I do 50 minutes a day 6 days a week. I've been reading since November 2020.

You sound completely normal to me. I have a very high IQ but my verbal skills developed slowly and it held me back for years. Your verbal skills seem to have developed normally. It wasn't until I was in my 30s that I knew how to spell words like 'though' 'thought' and 'rough'. Public school was brutal at times. It isn't structured for anyone but those that are completely average. Good luck!
