Before my chronic pain started 2 years ago I struggled with depression anxiety and debilitating catastrophizing. I came across your work 1 year ago. Never heard of Dr Sarno until I watched one of your videos. I know fear and PDP is keeping my symptoms going and on some days making them worse. It truly is a recovery from fear and despair, and I know creating a safe and calm state of mind is the key to recover from the chronic pain. Thanks for all you do Dan🙏❤

I think we often tell stories about all sorts of situations and about ourselves and other people so this advice is spot on.👏

I am learning to stop listening to the stories my mind is telling me, and just be in the present, so my story is always unfolding moment by moment. Putting my attention and focus on the now.

That book does in 2 pages what other books did in 800 pages. I got rid of all my therapy books and watch the daily videos.

This is me! I will get a few days or a couple weeks with good stories and a little bit of success, but once the symptoms start to go up the story to myself, is its too good to be true since I’ve known about mindbody for so long I should’ve already had a complete recovery from pain and symptoms. Not a great story but it’s hard to hold onto the belief after years of struggling. When I first learned of mind body six years ago, I was full of so much hope and belief that this could work for me and I feel like that slowly dwindled overtime. I have to flip the story somehow.

I’m so sorry this is taking you this long, I’m 7 months in and one of my biggest fears is dealing with this for many years to come, I try not to think about this

@@edgargevorkyan5082 I want to reiterate that I have had successful times with this method. So it does work. I have had some good periods and I fully believe in this work. It’s just for me when things start to go a little crazy. I have a hard time staying consistent with my mindset and that’s exactly why I haven’tcompletely eliminated it. But I want to reiterate that I have had pain and symptom free times.

Hi Dan! Again, another great video. Been thinking about buying your book! In this video, at the beginning of it, you mention the recovery of chronic pain symptoms. But this stuff also works for long COVID symptoms, right? Thanks again and keep up the good work 🎉

The biggest obstacles is people,at some level, cannot let go of the sick idea. Sympathy is a drug.

Society today proves the truth in your last sentence. But people like that tend to never believe it. It’s incredible that people know this - that’s where lives change!

I am working out 6 days a week and doing 25k steps a day. I can see my body is fighting back. I have symptoms that are always bouncing around and moving around. I know they’re not physical problems and that I’m fine but the whole thing is just getting really exhausting to live with. Is my only option to slow down and reduce activity? Or keep going and try to teach the system that I am safe and the symptoms are not necessary
