My hire car last week was the 100hp 6 speed manual with cruise control. I did 800 miles in 3 days, mostly motorway, but plenty of city driving. I always hated Vauxhalls, but this was a pleasure to drive. I was amazed at how good it was on the motorways. The engine is top notch. I would honestly buy one of these.

It doesn’t feel bad just the clutch is a lot lighter than the fiesta eco boost me personally I prefer that clutch but if I had to choose between the 2 I’d choose the corsa because the steering is better gets into tighter gaps and surprisingly travels like a dream

Hi! Is there a way to make Apple Carplay fullscreen? instead of having it at the center of the screen?
@cinch11 ай бұрын
Very good question, Savam. In our testing, we found that the petrol Vauxhall Corsa had the narrower Apple CarPlay screen and the electric Corsa had the full widescreen Apple CarPlay view. This is due to the upgraded infotainment system in the Ultimate trim level. I hope this helps.
@21Savam11 ай бұрын
@@cinch Yeah, the upgraded infotainment is available in the petrol models as an optional in the infotainment pack that contains the navigation too. I think it’s an operating system difference between the base infotainment and the upgraded one, so it’s crucial to take that optional for the ones who, like me, that want to use CarPlay very often! That optional is of course already included in the petrol Ultimate version

What is the name of the village with those charming old houses?

This was near Southrop in the Cotswolds (the exact location of those houses we can’t remember). Still, it’s a stunning part of the world!

Serious question have Peugeot/vauxhall sorted out the rubber belt driving the camshaft out? They degraded after 30 or 40 thousand miles destroying the engine?

Hello! We've not had any issues with cars that we've come across, so we wonder if the issue you mention could be related to specific cars with maintenence issues in their histories?

i heard from 2024. they will be replacing the wet belt with chain belts

The engines that had those major problems were the 1st gen puretech engines, we are now in the 3rd gen and they addressed the timing belt (changed the belt in itself and the oil type) and quite a lot of other parts of the engine. The mild hybrid version though has a chain instead of a belt

Had one as a hire car, they have a good amount of punch. Comparatively I had an I20 as a hire for the same journey a few months apart, both have low quality interiors but the Hyundais was uglier and ‘beeped’ about everything…would choose the Corsa

@@andreferreira3420 No it hasn't mine has a belt and it is brand new, unless they have made the belt oil resistant of course, which I doubt.
