@@deanhall6045 see this is how I know you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, you're saying I'm complaining when literally all I'm doing is expressing my opinion that WE need to beat the pies, since 4 out of the last 6 meetings we've had with them have resulted in us losing by less than a goal, and you're ACTUALLY complaining about Port Adelaide, an interstate club, only having 1 game at the MCG, that doesn't really make a lot of sense.. port get to play 13 games at adelaide oval, carlton play 11 at the MCG, probably best you do your research before you go attacking someone you don't even know online

@@deanhall6045 mate when you make the grand final its the two best teams in the comp going at, it doesnt matter where its being played, Richmond won the premiership at the Gabba back in 2020, and Melbourne at Optus in 2021, Port could've beaten Geelong and hosted a prelim but they lost, thats on them. get off the internet its probably past your bedtime

I LOVE that the Round 1 is overlapping with the F1 Grand Prix for the first time in forever!! It's a GOLDEN opportunity for the AFL to market itself to an overseas audience, even just a little bit. Carlton vs Richmond on the Thursday at the MCG is PERFECT for some sort of promotion, with Thursday being a sort of a warmup day in a Grand Prix weekend, Oscar Piastri being a diehard Tigers fan, and the MCG being the home of footy.

G'day mate, first appoinhtment for 25, Jazz heading player inspiration department, ar, the smell of pre-season infectiousness. Does look a great ficture doesn't it mate, North and and Eagles twicesomeone accidently ticked the wrong box I think. Then the last half of last year was suppose to be the easy part of the year. Got to get the player health right otherwise the fixture doesn't matter. Feel for the Queenslanders, always great supporters, a big club like us should do something on a specific round for them, organize a package for cost, with our contacts surely we could get something up, not for our profit but to say to our cousins up there, we appricate your support. Yes, I am already missing the games. The fixture is one of the better ones that I have seen in a while. I think that the lads should have a good chance at top 4 on the ladder. If you went back to the video from 4 days ago I commented that we will play a big Melb team e.g. col,ess,Mel,gel I’m what some might call a mystic. As well as this though even though that imo is pretty cool my initial thoughts when I saw it was 12 35 against GWS feels pretty weird as I don’t think I’ve ever been to a game that when I will arrive the time will be before lunchtime and also I am just glad that we are playing Essendon and Collingwood twice in a year again just good for overall crowds. Bring on 25 GB’s❤

Geez, Blues must be laughing - North & WC twice this season, North & Richmond twice last season. Even get two 9 day breaks and a bye plus no 5 day breaks in the first half of the season and only play Brisbane once! - 2025 3rd easiest draw. AFL will be pissed if you don't finish top 4 and make finals with all that assistance. Pies miss the 8 - played none of the bottom 4 twice last season, this season again no double ups against WC North or Richmond, - 2025 3rd hardest draw. It's a great fixture for Carlton. Not happy with the floating fixture in the second half of the year, but I've given up on the AFL caring about the fans. For us, though, it is an amazing draw. So many games at the G, which is just sweet. Gonna love the hate we're gonna get playing North & WC twice 🤣

‪Disappointed for QLD/NSW/ACT fans who only get one game that we are very likely to lose, at the worst venue to watch footy at. ‬Also, really irritating that’s it’s a Friday night, so makes travelling to it more difficult. Guess we’ll be clocking up the kms heading to Melbourne multiple times again (not complaining!) but we’re fortunate that we can do that. Many aren’t and I feel for them. Aside from that, agree that it’s top 4 or bust in 2025. Go Baggers!

Who cares about the fixture. Playing North twice might end up being a difficult task. We have no idea which teams will be any good next year. One week at a time and dont look too far ahead. Remember how we thought that we had an "easy" last month this year???

Which version of the Blues will we get? I have no idea with the changes happening. Please let's try to be the same version all season - if it's working - instead of abruptly abandoning one thing for another. Also it would be nice not to be the team that plays everyone else into form. One nice bonus: looks like pretty manageable matchups the next few games after playing Adelaide Crows for a change. Why they continue to be a bogey side is a mystery.

Based on last years performance, I've penciled in 8 wins. For comparison, I've got C'wood at 6 and Sydney at 7 - this is penciled in! Before the season has even started. Should Carlton break even with the remainder of the games that will be 16 wins for the season. Of course, shit can - and often does - happen. Need to re-establish ourselves as genuine contenders in '25 not just making up the numbers. Of course, those other 16 games are all losable if we play or have an attitude anything like the latter half of the '24 season. And God help Voss if he plays Fantasia game after game. Motlop gets 2 chances at the beginning of the season; no show and its "thanks for coming" with the Campo twins, Moir even Bins I think Motlop is (and should be) on borrowed time.

Terry , Carlton must play all grounds , so we play Suns and Brisbane in Melb , who is the other side in Adelaide, and the white surrender Flag , go in Navy play in Navy, and freo play in White , the white is wrong all wrong , freo can wear purple, Melbourne can wear their lighter blue, Adelaide can wear hoops of red and gold I watche'd footy on TV in 60s , no colour , we needed to know who was who , but our brain adjusted the only time barrack against the Blues is when they in white , we don't wear white , in fact I do not hate the Essendon Gurnsey the most anymore ,I hate the Carlton away gurnsey now it's putrid , thing , .
