I’m not sold on Draper. I’ve said for years our footy IQ lets us down not our leg speed. Draper looks another ball banger that runs into trouble than handballs. Yes he’s got speed and is clean. Does tick boxes. The angles Langford runs and the left peg that seems to always advantage teammates is seducing. FOS has the (bont) angles but raw power as well. Does fumble a bit though which could be due to finger injuries. Bloody tough call for Austin. Strange we have been linked to Smith of late a player I don’t think fits our needs. Hopefully just foxing. Going to be an interesting 10-15 years to see how it plays out. Reckon the best player after 5 years won’t be rated the best after 10 and then a different one after 15.

Reality is though we are picking to win a flag in the next 3 years. So we want to one that’s rated the best after 5 years and that’s probably your boy Sid “the kid” Draper.

I’ve just rewatched the highlight packages can’t shake the Draper reminding me of Dow feeling. Once to see the easy handball under pressure, the lose disposal and missed field kicks to space it’s hard to unsee. Langford pendles/Bont Fos Heeney/Bont I know who I’m favouring.

Harvey Langford is where my money is, ready to go has the body for it and injury free. Has a good point of difference with that left foot. I like him. If we are recruiting for the now surley Finn misses out. Unless we are recruiting for a family affair 🤮

Looking at all the attributes of the draftees, I've always preferred Langford then Draper, Smith. I'm not overly convinced that recruiting an injured player - an young - is a good thing. Injuries, as we know, had a major role in the downfall of our season. Langford for mine.
