Hi David! Great information as always. The learning for me is that whenever you are looking at a basket of stocks there will be leaders and laggards. What I try to identify first, is what basket of stocks is leading the market and then what stocks within the basket are leading. Then hopefully, you are putting the wind at your back getting into a strong stock in a group that is attracting money and leading the index higher. As you said the 50D MA is a good proxy as it is used by institutions. A lack of institutional support at this level is information. The current market has made this a bit more challenging to identify plurality but I still find it a valuable process. Thanks!

Especially in an extended uptrend, it can be super helpful to see which stocks remain above the 50-day, and which are unable to do so. Tells you alot about buying power/selling pressure! Thanks for the comments D

Interesting question... my short answer would be the 50-day MA because it is so commonly used for tactical buy/sell points. But both have their uses! Will address in a future video... D
