to bad the shifters are from plastic, I saw that the shifters has many flex on it. Why not in alu like other great brands?

⁠@@SIMRIG412bro do you just hate on asetek for a living? Please try them out before you talk so much about them. They’re literally an option for carbon paddles and aluminum is free. Also the plastic magnetic paddles on the forte feel amazing!

These companies really need to get their prices down. I rather buy the Fanatec ferrari wheel over this. But I can't see myself needing anything more than the GT Neo and KS wheels.

Actual wheel size for F1, LMP, GT etc is 280-300mm. Close enough.

Wheel by it self is okay, but noting special... I have Forte with F1 and LMP grips, for basic and cheap LaPrima are okey, but for wheel (with 1500€+price tag) is ridiculous. Paddles as well.

How does this compete with the quality of BravaranSimtec ... the Asetek shifters are rubbish, just like on all the other Asetek wheels. The grips are also terrible; were you paid to promote this product?. Honesty is important in reviews ... shame on you.

Hey, I did not compare the quality to any of the brands mentioned in the intro, I just said Asetek is now competing with them in the range of specs, features, price. There is nothing wrong though with the grips or shifters. I can check a Bavarian SimTec wheel again today, I'll let you know how big the difference really is. -Michel

After having another hands-on with Bavarian SimTec, I can say that the magnets there are a tad stronger for the shifers and it feels really good! Also the backlit buttons are maybe a plus for some. Their new wheel will also cost over 2000 EUR, so a few bonus features and even better build quality and more features are to be expected -Michel

You nailed it :-) Exactly same emotions with my friend, we were the owners of Forte (I as well with LMP grips). He has nearly half a year Omega Pro and I have Alfa for 1,5 month and because Asetek grips and paddles we wouldn't want Invicta wheel for free.

​@@OverTake_ggIMO the lack of proper backlit buttons is a significant detriment to the value of this wheel. As a racer who prefers to race in a relatively darker space, backlit buttons are very valuable. I am in the market for a wheel more in tune to open wheel cars, but this misses the mark for me. I currently run a GTX2 and I absolutely love it. It isn't perfect, but it's a good wheel with practical features that make it enjoyable to use. I also run the Invicta pedals and LOVE, absolutely LOVE them. Best purchase on my rig, but this asetek rim release just ain't it for me.
