Have you ever worn any Le Laboureur jackets or other garments? I have two of their moleskin jackets, and one of their Ouessant sheep wool jackets. They're a fairly small scale french manufacturer that's family owned, has been around since the 50s, and the prices are ridiculously low for the quality they're putting out. All the manufacturing is still done in France, and they specialize in traditional French workwear styles, using cloth made in France. I'd definitely look into them.
