When LeBron James, Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh joined forces in July 2010, everybody, especially LeBron, thought they were going to win rings together for the next 7-8 years. Turns out, reality can be cruel. This video explains the biggest reasons why the Big 3 Miami Heat didn't become a dynasty. Enjoy.

What this video fails to mention is prior to the NBA draft, Wade had a decision to make undergoing his Meniscus. He could choose to have his meniscus repaired which would have been good long term for him, but he probably would have missed the 2003 NBA Draft. He instead chose to have his Meniscus removed which was a good short term option but it lead to long term knee issues. Wade's decline is a result of his decision to remove his meniscus

1. Was Lebrons melt down in 2011 2. Going to 4 straight finals put fatigued on everybody but seemingly LeBron. 3. Nobody was willing to trade with Miami (if the best players was a 30+ year old Ray Allen, 30+ year Shane Battier, and 30+ year Anderson all pick ups in FA then yea it was hard to do transactions) 4. No young guys (it was just Norris Cole that’s it) 5. Wade injuries

They’re was no core, I tell ppl with Lebron Wade would have retired early and Beasley would been our future. MICHEAL BEASLEY. Mario, Cole weren’t good player just borderline bench role player that average from 3. Same with rest team as Battier Miller and Allen were past prime could do much beside play decent defense and shoot threes. Also no consistent big killed us. Chris Anderson good help but with Udonis aging and Bosh being a stretch five we struggle in guard bigs. I mean look other center we signed just get help in the front court. Joel Anthony, Jwan Howard, Greg Oden (surprise play good when he was in but again injuries stop him) even bust pick Dexter Pittman.

I always felt like the pieces on those Heat teams never fit all that well. Only reason they got the two chips was just because of sheer talent. In a way it makes LeBron look even better considering he won titles with a team that never had the greatest chemisty. I actually think the same could be said of LeBron's teammates during his second stint with the Cavs. They took Kevin Love, someone who was used to getting the ball in the post and sometimes even orchestrating the offense, and made him a 3 and D guy without the D. They basically just told him to sit in the corner and shoot threes. Kyrie was of course extremely talented but like Wade, I never felt like he meshed particularly well stylistically with LeBron, both being ball dominant play initiators. The only superstar LeBron's played with that I think complements his game well is Anthony Davis. The only problem there IMO has been Davis' stubborn refusal to play center.
@controversialmann5345

I think Kyrie fit cuz he could close and play off ball. With Kevin Love he got most of his shots of 3s and putbacks. Plus he turned into an efficient 3 point shooter and passer.

I do agree bosh was a bit overated but he definitely wasn't as bad as you made him sound. You made it sound like he wasn't even a top 30 player. When he definitely was at least top 25. He did disappear for stretches of the game but that's exactly what playing along side lebron and wade would do. As a matter of a fact in Golden state Klay, Steph, and kd would each disappear for long stretches. That's three of the best shooter to ever play with probably some of the best chemistry ever.

I believe it was karma for bragging about winning 7 Rings or revenge for D. Wade toes and the 2011 Finals proved it by how they both played terrible, but by 2012 they figured out during training camp and Wade graciously let LJ take over, D Wade was humble and unselfish, had he not done so they wouldn't have won those 2 Rings. *Top Reasons Miami's Big 3 didn't win more Rings* 1. *Unresloved Team Dynamics* (2011) 2. Injuries of *D. Wade (Knees)* (Even the heat didnt invest back into Wade, after LJ returned to Cleveland) 3. 4 Straight Finals was tuff for D Wade and Chris Bosh bodies. 3. *Chris Bosh life threatening and career ending health issues (Blood Clots) started to develop in 2014 but I believe it was an issue before that* and nobody knew and by 2016 Bosh had retired with his jersey in the rafters. (LJ made the right move going back to Cleveland 2015. But Kyrie & Love both got hurt in 2015 Finals Cavs Lost smh bad luck) just Crazy 4. *The Spurs were an All-time Great Dynasty with 3 Legit Hall of Famers in Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili* they were consistently great from early 2000s to mid 2010s. LJ is 1 - 2 Spurs (2007 - 2014) Miami Heat was a great team, love those days *let's not forget LJ was robbed of Unanimous NBA MVP in 2012 & 2013 and Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2013* but some how Curry gets Unanimous NBA MVP in 2016 over LJ, but gets destroyed by LJ in the 2016 Finals, you can make this stuff up!. Great Vid!

Bosh's name shouldn't even be on this list. His offensive game was hit or miss, but he's one of the best pick and roll defenders of all time and anchored that defense. He was the second-most important Heat throughout that run. Role players should be number 1. The 11 team was starting Mike Bibby who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat and Joel Anthony. Miller and Haslem were supposed to be the key role players but Miller shot 29% from 3 in the playoffs and Haslem was banged up and not the same guy he was in the mid/late 2000s. 2014 their roster was ancient. Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis and Shane Battier all retired after the season. Wade's knees were shot. It's kind of amazing they got as far as they did, especially after three straight finalas runs, but the East was weak.

You trippin, trashin Bosh like that. He was the most important piece to the defense being a big man that could hold his own vs gaurds and wing while still being accustomed to gaurding true bigs. Plus his ability to post up, be a lob threat, AND sfrwtch the floor to the 3pt line which was still considered special and even more special seding as he was a 5 made the offense gel even more due to the massive amounts of space he providef along side Battier, Chalmers, Ray Allen and other shooters.
