Finally I find the first real review of 1300gs. All the reviews with more views are meaningless press kit even without any offroad footage. Cheers. I’ll subscribe.

Great video, and thanks for the very well done translation.

By far the most objective review! The rest tend to resort to simply parroting back the BMW press package... True journalist work, a breath of fresh air, thanks!

Agree, most just tool around the city/town or countryside. This is one of the best actual off-road riding I've seen other than the press releases.

Great video. Again Thanks for doing it in English

It's good that BMW is putting the correct kind of tires on these motorcycles when I got my 07 it had street tires on it and all I did is fall over when I went off-road because the front wheel would wash out

Nice review and thanks to the translator, well done. A lot of riders will go "off-road", but the vast majority of riders don't do off-road that looks like some of the trail sections you did here. The bike is very capable of doing it (I did it on the big fat pig R1150GS) you just can't do it like you would on a KTM 690... unless you are really good. This is not a trail bike. There... with all that out of the way, I like what they've done here and look forward to test riding one when I'm in the states next year. I'll likely buy one (I think) as I prefer the kind of riding this bike can do. I love my CRF300 for trail type riding/urban assault and the GS will let me do the rest. My only concern is police in the US like to give speed tickets.

If you were to be a rider 80/20 (on road/off-road) would you still opt for sport suspension or would the regular suspension be better for more road focus? I’m 1.78m

Great review as always, Danke! I am acquiring this month my first GS.... if it existed , I'd go for a R1300GS Adventure, but instead I am forced to chose for GS1250 Adventure or a R1300GS. The latter doesn't offer in my country neither the Enduro package nor the Sport Suspension. I am 180 CM tall. What you think should be the deciding factos ? what would you choose and why if you wanted a GS now bu you don't have any (e.g. no bike to trade in) ?

Another fantastic review mate.Your still very fast & very sexy,lol.Thanks again for going to the trouble of doing the review in English.One of the best motorcycle channels but,unfortunately I only speak English & the reviews are often done in German.

Hey there are options and features when you build it out online with what you want. Not of dealer floor already baked. Then have the bike ordered and shipped to your home or dealer to unbox it.

What suspension the GS Trophy you tested was installed ? E.g. Sports or Standard suspensions ?

No navigation prep on the Trophy?

The Trophy can be optioned with any of the features you want.

@JoeS9775611 ай бұрын
@@ryanmalone2681 Yes, I built one just that way, basically as a street bike with electric screen, active cruise control, turn signals in handguards, adaptive ride height, etc.

@@JoeS97756 That’s pretty cool.

You order the setup with the bike when they build it..

this guy needs to find a different job. Very confusing and vague review of the new GS off-road capabilities. he said "but, what do I know?" Yeah what do you know?
