Too many just notice his post-injury shooting woes and ignore that he's been a beast on defense as the Clippers primary point-of-attack defender, particularly in road wins. The clippers not only have a big 3, but they actually have depth, too. The Clippers could've made a run to the finals last year if Kawhi and PG hadn't got hurt. Still think Denver would've beaten them. Hopefully, the suns can put it together, but as of right now the suns don't look like a contender. Beal's very good, but they needed depth, i dont think they needed another star player. Clippers will finally make the finals this year. And Boston will win the east. Imo

Simply Clippers big 3 are better passers (mainly due to harden). The Sun’s big 3 don’t take enough 3’s themselves and don’t find open shooters (even ones shooting 47%) That means they’re taking tough contested shots instead of open 3’s. A recipe for losses in the modern NBA. The 23-24 Sun’s should be a case study against having multiple midrange heavy guys especially as they have 3 of the best on their roster

Coach, I see that you didn't really talk much about your favorite player Westbrook. We need a part 2 on his impact on the clippers 😆

I been said this abt the suns. No lead guard or anyone to make the offense make sense. They’re too redundant w the scorers they have. They’re always gonna try to get their shot off but aren’t the best at leveraging that gravity to find shots elsewhere and there’s no gel to make it make sense. You can’t just throw talent together and expect it to work.

i really dont understand the mindset of GMs over NBA history of "throw 2 or 3 stars onto a team, we'll be fine with 0 bench depth" like it literally hasn't worked once in the probably 8 to 10 attempts from different teams... everyone saw the dominance of the warriors and thought they could do something similar to no avail. a team like those warriors is a diamond dozen, MJs Bulls Steph's Warriors Magic's Lakers Duncan's Spurs (depending on your definition of "stars" with Manu and Tony) The Heatles (if you considered Bosh a star on those teams) KG's Celtics These are literally the only examples i can think of when it comes to teams since the 80s in which there were more than 2 "star" players (this can be debated) and it actually led to a ring... and only 4 of these 6 teams were true dynasties resulting in more than 2 rings. I miss when Teams that won were well rounded and had one or maybe 2 real weapons (Think Kobe & Shaq, good rounded teams with a few great weapons, crafted carefully for over a decade) it just resulted in more authentic great performances and duels between stars, not the awkwardness we see today of 3 or sometimes even 4 star players on the court playing hot potato and deferring to each other because they each want to get a certain amount of shots up so their averages arent hurt too much. when Kyrie and Lebron combined for 80 in 2016 it meant something, when Kobe and shaq average 63 combined points in the 2002 finals it means something, i just feel like in today's league we go all through the regular season making sure everyone gets their stats then end up going into the playoffs and star filled teams either crash and burn because of no depth and uncertainty over who takes the last shot or never get off the ground because someone's hurt. that rant covered like 4 topics and now that im rereading it its all over the place but i dont care enough anymore to correct anything or change my thoughts in a youtube comment that no ones gonna see so eh

Dam the biggest difference between the big 3s is that one has a generational playmaker. I’ll admit I was wrong for doubting but harden has every right to say he is the system.

Its also their player's habits and mentality. The suns have a team full of ballhogs, while the Clippers have superstars that thrive in iso situations but do even better in team based play. Durant has some sort of trust issue or something cause he does not give the ball to the roleplayers, booker has always been the kobe of the suns and beal is used to doing everything on a shitty Wizards team. The suns need a lot more time to get things straightened out but I think that they can do it.

If we are talking about a healthy team, not once did I ever think the Suns are a better team on paper or actually on the court. This was before the harden trade has seemed to work out.

HARDEN, RUSS & KAWHI MAKES EVERYBODY LOOK GOOD. IT'S ALWAYS LOOKING FOR AN OPEN MAN FOR A BETTER SHOT. YOU HAVE 3 GOOD PLAY MAKERS THAT MAKES HAVOC FOR OTHER TEAMS. TOO DIFFICULT TO GUARD.
