This is an amazing drone! It's not only fun to fly, but it's versatility it's unmatched. It's great for inspections, indoors and outdoors, because it can get into places no other drone can. It's built like a tank so you can fly the drone without worrying excessively. At the beginning of the video you said the key words: "If you fly it within its limitations". Flying the Avata is addictive and I find that it's the drone that I want to fly the most. Thank you for an excellent video!

I got one in May (based in part on your videos, among others), and I'm pretty happy with it. My one downside is that it's so loud (which, I know, just comes with the territory for FPV drones); I'm really self-conscious about flying with people nearby, so it's harder to find places to fly. (Here in Hawaii if there's nice scenery that'd be great to fly around, there are generally a bunch of other people there admiring it, so I've started going early in the morning before the crowds arrive.) Otherwise, the durability is top-notch, I let my family fly it when I first got it and it weathered a few crashes with flying colors.

Finally, somebody told the truth about the Dji avata . I lost two Dji avata in the mountain just like you losing the single about 60 m watching my baby crash in the mountain and I can’t do anything about it 😢 . The reason why I like it so much because once I wear the goggle, I fly like a eagle. 😊 . 👍👌🥃🥃🥃

Hi ! just go an Avata 2 weeks ago and it's in fact a great drone. Because I also have a Mavic 3 Classic and a mini 4 Pro....I tried the goggles and Motion C with them...and my god....just found another way to "Really" love flying again....like you said ..." like an eagle". So I can you that if you still want to fly with the goggles and feel a little bit more secure, if you can, buy a mini 4 pro and you'll be ok. Bye. Fred

if the drone loses signal between 5 and 50 meters, it will RTH at the current altitude, not the RTH altitude you set in settings

Yaw washout happens with most high battery Ducted Whoops. though most are not as bad. but it IS common.

only records in landscape orientation. 60fps for 4k. 2k/1440 records in 120fps

I got one when it first came out and I went on two flights with it. Both went just fine but when I tried to take of for the third time it wouldn’t work😮. I called DJI and they couldn’t fix it so we had to install the administrator software from a link DJI sent to us. It was an error with one of the sensors and there was no fix😢. So I had to send it back but I got a full refund 😊

00:33 wow? you flew an avata way up there? mountain surfing that's totally out of the avata intended use. A 5 inch quad would be for this kind of flying, The avata is cinehwoop it should be used indoors 80% of the time, or for very low shots.
