DJI Avata - EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Before Buying

I have been flying drones for 7 years, and this is probably the most informative and explanatory video on a single drone product I have ever seen. 35 minutes is a very long time for a product video, yet every second I was encaptured by the information; As your thoroughness, attention to detail, but still ability to simplify so many complicated/detail oriented pieces of information is unmatched and absolutely perfect. It is incredibly rare to find lengthy content like this that keeps your attention without the over-hype, cheeky stuff, or things just going stale. Will be purchasing this drone once my mavic pro 2 sells (it's time to make the 'shift'), and will 100% use your referral link. You appear to have a serious competitive edge over almost anyone doing drone videos with the way you bring information together. Totally agree with you on that. He actually got my attention because I have the DJI fpv and I feel like I can learn more on the avata then the DJI fpv. That DJI fpv is fast, very fast and it’s intimidating when on full manual mode. So I purchased the avata yesterday and I’m getting the hang of it. Good video and very explanatory.

10:00 - the reason is that the gimbal stabilizes only on one axis and the EIS works best with a high fps, otherwise it can get wonky

Just got the DJI Mini 2 to help with film making. However, I always wanted to get into FPV for more dynamic shots. FPV always looked like a hard hobby to get into but it seems the Avata has solved that issue.

Wow 35mins and every second watchable and informative. It is very rare to watch a review at this length without skipping bits but everything you mention is very interesting and incredibly informative. This is now definitely on my 'want' list even though I had issues with FPV when I purchased the original DJI goggles. Yes the experience was jaw dropping but I had to sit down before I would fall over through disorientation. The overwhelming motion sickness and dizziness meant my flights were extremely short, however, seeing that these goggles have the diopter adjustment I would hope that the image would be clearer. Because I had difficulties with the clarity on my original goggles I think that added to the detrimental effects I experienced. Im a hobbyist and don't operate for monetary return, I originally started with a wookong many many years ago fitted to homebuilt 550, although then the tech was riddled with issues its so good to see that DJI have started to release products that are far more reliable with firmwares that seem to work. I currently own a Mavic Zoom and a Mini 2 both of which are great. Thanks for this brilliant review such a huge help in a purchasing decision. I love the hand controller, looks brilliant.

I have two DJI Combo, love both and my favourite drone to fly. I believe the DJI Avata can be used with the controller of my DJI Combo. I also believe my DJI V2 googles can be connected to the DJI Avata, is this also correct?

The bundles don't reduce the price at all (which I actually like), so really all they would need to do is make the goggles available by themselves, then we could buy whichever components we want to individually. Of course, to do that, they'd need to make the goggles backward compatible with the original FPV and Air Units, so who knows?

My drone discovery started December last year and I bought the Mavic 3. I’ve wanted to go FPV however continuously question my novice ability. You’ve sold me on buying one now and will be using the support link. I can only say this with experience, buy the DJI care plan as I crashed my Mavic 3 and it was expensive to repair. Hey, you don't need to use your glasses with the goggles. They have diopter adjustment which means you can focus the screens to your eyesight and don't need to wear the glasses. Very handy!
