Maybe you should do many videos of the many cuisines we have in Rotterdam.. From Surinamese. Indonesian, Cape Verdian etc etc.. Good food doesn't have to be POSH foods all the time. You know that the market hall has SO many varieties of world food. I have to say though.. Most Dutchies will never go alone to spoil themselves in a good restaurant.. It's more a social thing to do with others. . I can't remember i went to spoil myself at a reastaurant alone.. Although sometimes i think.. F it.. Why not?

Good food doesn’t have to be posh but I really enjoy these special culinary experiences. I also really love going to places solo. Because indeed, why not?

He who searches will find 😉 My favourite food is fish / seafood. That's my guilty pleasure. Herring was the best taste of my childhood, though I didn't grow up in the Netherlands.

Michelin star restaurants are a disaster , they ruin perfectly good foods , ruin the taste of the produce meats fruits and vegetables. I walked out of michelen star restaurant as they couldnt even prepare fish the correct way , covering the fish with all kinds of spices it tasted disgusting.

I’m sorry you had this experience. I really enjoy the Michelin experience. Very creative and intricate details.

@@MakingitinHolland Its not dutch food , its an insult to dutch foods . There are restaurants that returened and declined a michelin star. What is the point of having fresh fruits and freeze them they lose all taste and vitamines . You want meats ,fish , good soups that are not tastless go to local restaurants , or better yet vissit a Bourgondian restaurant , they serve the old late medieval and 16th century foods . And a reminder a michelin guide is nothing more than a High way restraurant /hotel reference. Nothing more . There is no such thing as a 0 star restaurant , or hotel . these are minumum requirements meaning not get food poison and good qualtiy to price.

No it’s not a restaurant it’s the type of food and if you walk in Amsterdam there is a store with candies and coffee and breakfast and these are just in the window stacked up
