it took superglue and a Dremel to get this thing up to acceptable, and everyone is downplaying the chest gap. it is much bigger than it looks. if he was made out of metal you could use it as a bottle opener.

@@sirdork730 i won't argue he looks pretty in pictures, but functionality wise he falls flat. i just think he would be a better figure with the torso engineering of 19 and the new sculpt he could be better. shma and all the companies really need held to task. at $140 there is no reason we can't get looks and function.

Fun fact: The Reason that Evolved Godzilla is skinnier than his base form is because he used up most of his fat stores during his evolution, so in the future we might see a Godzilla similar to evolved but with more meat on his bones. Also the creators of the film said that his evolution was never meant to be permanent, so he might de-evolve in some way in the future, but probably not going back to exactly how he was. It will more likely be a mixture of the 2019/2021 design and the evolved design.

i had to heat the tail up real good and that seemed to fix most of that issue, i just glued the hands to the balljoint after getting fed up enough. the part that holds the lower jaw to fix his random lockjaw i had to glue in as well as the knee spacers since they kept getting stuck inside his leg. since i was that far in i dremeled out his midsection and glued it to his collar section to cover up the grand canyon these "reviewers" keep shooting around in there videos. $140 dollars and i put more work in it than shma did. so yeah... wait for hiya, worst case scenario and it is crap too at least you saved $90.

@@KhiShakur if you are going to let it on a shelf yeah, but i didn't buy a statue i bought an action figure. and after a while the realization kicks in that if it was glued in place i could alleviate 80% of the headache dealing with this thing. it affected nothing with the knee or mouth joints , and after affixing the mid to the top he gained an actual waist swivel. so need, no but it sure helped.

I was thinking of Buying this figure when it first came out, unfortunately the Hiya Toys Godzilla 2024 Evolved Version was just too good for Me to pass so the Hiya Toys one I bought! Unfortunately the longer I wait the more expensive and less there is of this Sh Monsterarts Godzilla 2024 version. So I decided to cancel my Hiya Toys Godzilla 2024 evolved and I bought other stuff. I wish I'd bought this Sh Monsterarts Godzilla 2024 evolved instead of waiting and waiting, even today No Hiya Toys Godzilla 2024 evolved so more waiting and more waiting again! I bought the Hiya Toys Godzilla 2024 Pre-evolved with No pink on him this time and the figure is Awesome But, the articulation Sucks! It's more like a Mini Statue than a fully possible figure. I was like really? There's like 7 versions of this exact Hiya Toys Godzilla from the Monsterverse and fans bought All of them? Just one of these Hiya Toys Godzilla from the Monsterverse I'm not even that happy with especially those articulations. I mean it's an awesome figure but the joint is so statue like, it's not that possible compared to Sh Monsterarts. I bet Even that Sh Monsterarts Godzilla 2019 in those blue highlights that you own is a way better articulated and easier to move around than the Hiya Toys. Waste of my time... But yeah very good review on the figure and hopefully No loose joint on this Sh Monsterarts Godzilla 2024 Evolved.

I'm disappointed with this figure, mainly the paint. The articulation while an improvement in many aspects, also got worse in others like looking up, limited waist swivel and that terrible chest gap. For the price we deserved better

@@ConcernedFetus I have never once had an egregious gap in the chest with my figure, and whatever gap may be created during posing, is very easily rectified by simply working the joints to cover it. The only issue is the lack of upwards head movement, but that can easily be fixed by just taking the head off, turning the first neck sleeve to the front, and reattaching the head. Congratulations, your Evolved Godzilla can look straight up.

@ I guess I’m just not concerned with a minor gap when posing my personal copy, especially when said chest piece allows for a range of movement that isn’t present on my 2014 nor 2019 SH Godzillas. It just… Is what it is with SH Monsterarts figures. The range of articulation they offer are going to allow gaps to show in certain poses, especially for Godzillas. How much that bothers you is a personal grievance.

@ yea matter of preference. I think I just got my hopes up too high for this release, what bothers me most is the face paint. It's a great figure but the flaws would be more acceptable at a 85-95 price point is what I'm saying.
