AFN does not represent First Nations they are only an advocacy body. Canada needs to speak directly with rights holders.

Chiefs of First Nations people are painting themselves into a corner…….. where does canada get these billions and billions of dollars to support certain groups??? There should be a way for them, like the Metis people to pay thier way.. all three groups recognized by canada are all indigenous, and all three should share in the (bounty) for our children. But there are so-o many children that aren’t indigenous that have hardships the same as nish people.

Sure they will in 1996 there was no drinking water on almost all reserves. There have been two federal conservative governments since 1996 they just want to exploit the land and resources for their conservative agenda
