I am just glad that people are going to be able to get a very good phone for a good price when they start dropping the prices on the Note 9. The note 8 is still doing very good for me, the only two things that would make me upgrade to the Note 9 is the battery performance and the camera

Mario, thanks for the shoutout. It's too hard to pass up a phone that is half price brand new. I had picked up that Note 4 when the Note 5 was released. Only one year old tech isn't too bad. But for some, trading in that phone newer to get a huge credit may be worth it. If you get $350 -$400 towards the Note 10, that enough for a lot of people.

All the Note phones I have ordered directly through Samsung or the carriers, it has never been worth for me to do the trade in

I ended up swapping my s10 plus to get the note 9 , I know the s10 still had the head phone Jack, but productivity with the s pen really changed my mind , I was a bit upset the note 10 changed it or i would have gone to that, i do personally believe you do get better audio quality with wired headphones.

I like almost everything about the Note9 and hate almost everything in the Note10. My S5 is with me for 4.5 years, but when it hits the 5 year mark I'll get the blue 512GB Note9. It's just the better phone compared to the "new" version. The only thing I wish the Note9 had was a wide angle camera but I'm not much of a camera guy so no big deal & the thing I like of the Note10 is the inscreen sensor but the Note9's is in a great position as well so again, no big deal.

now that I have used the Note 10 Plus I don't see a huge diff on both phones.. aside from the audio jack that now I have to remember I cant plug my regular earphones. Camera is much better, but that's about it .. The rest of the new features do not really stand out much for me

I had my note 9 for about four months and I love it. My note 9 is still a beast of a phone. There's nothing wrong with my note 9. I believe the note 9 is the last of its kind and the only note that has EVERYTHING. I'm not wasting my money on no Note 10. I'll be enjoying my note 9 for about 3 to 5 years. By then the Note 10 will be dirt cheap if I do decide to upgrade to the Note 10 plus. I'm going to let my note 9 age a couple of years.

Exactly. The note 9 is still a very powerful phone even though the Note 10 is out. My note 9 is good for a couple more years.

Only thing i dont like about my note 9 is its weight. Out of all the note 10s the normal one weights 168gram so will be easy to use one handed and wont have to worry much of dropping it and damage. All other note 10s seem useless to me. We gona have to wait and see what the note 11 brings. Moved from note 4 to note 9 512gb and 8 gb ram. This phone is crazy cheaper now to get and will be even cheaper on black friday. Get a note 9 512gb on black friday is my advice but also get it a good flip case to protect both the front and back of the phone (due to weight it can slip when using one handed)

I'm late to the event. . . Honestly, the most advanced or expensive phone I have purchased was the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018. (320€) I've never owned an S variant before this year when I bought a refurbished S3 Mini on eBay. (70€) I have just finally bought a (new) Galaxy Note 9 (512GB & 8GB RAM). (440€) I'm not a fan of hole punched cameras or notches, I'll take them bezels any day.

A very well done Mario. Yes the note 9 is near to perfection. No wonder Samsung codenamed it crown. Note 10+ has better things but has worse too. The note 10 is even worse with no 2K screen, no sd card, smaller battery no iris scanner with intelligent scan (on both) and obviously no Jack i.e note 9 will be a better buy. Keep it up Mario.

A few years ago the Note 5 was also a step backward after the Note 4 in many aspects. We had to wait four generations after that to get the Note 9 which is no dubt as good as the 4 was back then. Now here we go again, they remove headphone jack, the memory card slot and the HRM sensor. Definitely not gonna buy the Note 10. I also expect higher starting prices than last year.

Samsung is going to give USB-C AKG headphones in the box. We'll wait n see how good they'll sound compared to the headphone jack. I think Samsung should've given the USB-C headphones support for 32bit HiFi quad DAC, the headphone jack fans wouldn't have complained much

I'm going to buy the Galaxy note 9.because there's not enough difference to warrant paying $1,000 for a phone when I can get a note 9 for between $355 and $400.second of all I will not buy a phone that doesn't have a headphone jack and expandable storage. And Samsung cell phone cameras aren't improving enough for a torrent me buying $1,000 phone. Fools throw away money to impress shallow people who think they need the newest shiney toy.
