So why is "no magnets" a positive? Honestly? I'm simply wondering why, because magnets are quiet. I don't even have magnets on my old current pack, so I need to know why it's now a positive to not have them....?

Magnets are actually pretty loud, they snap shut. Also magnets can mess with pacemakers and they can also effect range finders with gps and if you have a phone in the back pocket a magnet can ruin your screen. Lots of benefits of not having magnets.
