Indian governemnt should have to make it mandatory that the government teacher's children should study in the school in which his father/mother is teaching especially in state like Bihar. No parents want to see their children to fail. If it will happen then the system of the school will also improved. Please pinned my reply. So that every one can read it.

Sadly only 51% of engineers are employed so for them the chance of getting a job is the same as tossing a coin and getting heads or tails but after spending lakhs of rupees

There is a whole life out there waiting for you don't waste it on some damn entrance exam. There is a lot you can do, may be change your stream, go for a PHD in some subject, learn some other skill or just try to collect enough money to get admission in some private college. As a student let me just say this is true AF. The school doesn't even teaches board properly let competitive exams be. There is a reason why there are so many droppers in various competitive exams. Most of class 12th students doesn't give a dork shit about it until exams arrive . I have seen this myself. Thanks to covid it made things worse. Plus school always used to threaten us that attend class or we won't do this or that bullshit. It's a boon indeed that we can always use online platforms to study whatever you want.

India was not like this in the past. Britishers ruined our ancient education system. 'Macole' gives us this system to destroy our knowledge. He said in the british parliament in 1830- ' if we want to rule india we have to destroy their education system '. We had thousands gurukal in year 1800's and in england there was only 1 church for education. In gurukuls they used to taught so many topics. A gurukul in himachal used to taught plastic surgery 200 years ago. Britishers took our ancient system and replaced it with this mess we have today . And this is not fake , all records are in british parliament.

When my first child started Kindergarten in the US I was so happy to see that she was getting a good education. She was taught critical thinking in elementary school, the teachers really cared about the students and loved their jobs. They saw that extra help was given to struggling students. I am one of the so called toppers of the school, because of my interaction and grades, and what you said is totally relevant. In school copy paste concept is used instead of practical knowledge. There was a student in my class who used to be my senior but since he failed in class 9 he became one of our classmates. He had very low grades, and teachers used to make fun of him a lot..but, there's a but. He used to make small machines with daily life things, and he was a genius. Though I was good in theoretical physics, that boy was good in the application of physics. But I don't think he will get science in 11 because of his low grades. This is where our system fails; ratta maar knowledge > practical knowledge. I feel bad for that student And yeah the filtering system, there were so many classes for the slow learners in our school, otherwise they will fail. But we need to understand that everyone's learning process is different, even when all students are of the same age. This was one of main ideas of modern psychology named constructivism. Last but not the least, there's no education and system in our education system. The day it's fixed will be the day India will truly develop

You know it's very heart breaking when your teacher yourself says : *"We don't expect anything from you, but to jot down whatever we're dictating in your notebooks, memorise them, and come throw out all the knowledge you stores in your brain, for getting good marks"* ~ Says our Chemistry teacher. Not that we didn't know about this, but when I teacher directly admit what he's doing, without even trying to change the system, just shows, we students are as hopeless as those teachers. Getting orders from CBSE to just "finish the syllabus" , "take tests" and make them "score good marks"

@@aparnasingh9358 Okay, if you think so, then what's the use of internship... people can directly get job by just reading books in their language. Isn't it so?? Ma'am, in India many Engineering students have got marks, but they don't know coding. It means they have understood what has been taught in class but they can't apply those. In Medical field, practice is one of the best thing to become successful. If I talk about school, people only have seen how a chemistry lab looks like and how the objects work, but they don't know how to use it. In books suppose a line is written "diluted acid", students can understand water and acid is mixed but they don't know should they add acid to water or water to acid from this line. Basically a whole detailed process of an experiment is never given in books, those can only be performed if a teacher teaches us those practically.

@@itsme6461 Well well I don't know how you went from experiments given in book (i was referring upto 12th) to suddenly Medical field or codding and stuff these higher education field teaching institutes focuses on practical knowledge as well becouse being myself studing in medical college it would be funny if you are telling i don't get practical knowledge in indian college. That's a whole different topic if some low grade engineering college doesn't have equipments or lab same goes for schools not conducting practical periods efficientally . I'll talk about myself i completed my 12th from a small town but my college had conducted all practicals well we were always asked to do experiments as instructed in the book ( btw book cover details if to add acid in water or water in the acid i remember myself reading it 🤓and actually colleges have seperate bottle labelled eg dill. HCL for safety purpose i guess ) I beleive if concepts of physics chemistry are taught in mothertongue then the child will grasp it very easily with each class and can apply in future in innovations. You just think most people in our country are not comfortable with English yet they are the same who passed their whole 12 yrs school studying in that medium.. They didn't completely got the basic concepts just rattafication of paragraphs of answers to write in exams.

To counter this I said that practical in colleges are taken for this reason. Doctors can't be made without sending them to wards. I am not talking about language bcz every school has this method of teaching in mother tongue (except ICSE, or in case the student lives in other state).

They used KZbin live instead. 🤦‍♂️ The will to learn is directly related to the standards of living. If the family is hungry, learning calculus will not fill them up, doing manual labour will. So they learn physical conditioning, and how to handle muscle stress instead. Humans will always learn, but you have narrowed down that learning to maths and science, and literature. I have recently started as a school teacher and I am deeply saddened to see the faults of our education system at such close quarters. Students are encouraged to cram the answers and made to expect questions only from the textbook. If they notice any slight diversion in the way the questions are presented, they would react like fish out of water. The state of language education has reached rockbottom. The mindless emphasis on English, and outright negligence of the mother tongue enrages me to the core. The abnormally increasing number of students in one section has taken a toll on the educator's sanity. I,for one, am not able to cope with the challenges that come along with it. Despite my willingness to help the slow learners, I am compelled to move with the pace of those who fair well. The utmost importance given on the completion of syllabus ( regardless of whether the students understand the concepts or not) and almost null number of extra classes for the slow learners. Schools , now follow the policy of survival of the fittest and the willing teachers are bogged down by the disillusionment they face in this system. While, the ones who hardly care, go about their business with their myopic vision. There is so much to explain but I am afraid the list is so long, that it cannot be accommodated. I am just another novice but frustrated teacher whose naive vision to bring a change has constantly been threatened by the superficial ideals which are followed nowadays

I am from Kerala. Even govt is focusing only on increasing the pass percentage of the state board. Recently the kerala class 10 results were announced. So we also came to know about the result of my neighbour. It was really surprising to know that a child who rarely goes to school or study has got such a good grades. No offense against that kid. But another shocking thing was that many 9th std students were paid to write the exam of these 10th std students. This year only one student failed in that particular school because his/her father refused to take that offer. We are giving to much importance to marks such that if a child doesn't fulfill the minimum he/she is declared as a failure and the govt itself is encouraging cheating and giving an indirect message that you can't t be successful with what u have. While the govt make a good status for themselves among other states, they are actually spoiling their own children This is a serious issue. Neither the news channels are ready to take this issue nor the teachers. Pls help me to make this one of the top comments so that everyone can see this.

"The Indian factory system" which you mentioned speaks volumes about the main purpose of education. Our current system was created by Britishers, mainly by Thomas Macaulay in such a way that it generates more factory workers who would serve them but not talented or creative personalities. It was done to enslave us. It is a sad reality that we haven't overhauled our outdated system. Education is one of those sectors which has been blatantly ignored by our leaders. Let's not blame our leaders alone, it is the mistake of people who don't demand what is essential. We beat our chests and take to the streets to demand reservations and everything "free". This culture of freebies has made us lazy, casual, and incompetent. Have we ever raised a voice for better education? The answer is No. As long as we don't hold our leaders accountable, we are going to remain in this sad state.

Before writing anything let me clear that I study in class 7 . All the facts in the video are true because I have experienced it myself. The condition of government school in my village is worst. Here students do take admission in government schools but they don't study there. Instead they go to private schools. It means that their names are in both private and government schools. The reasons behind this are :lack of good teachers, poor infrastructure, bad quality of meal and education. The teachers are literally not educated. It seems they have got this job on the basis of fake documents. Students roam outside the school without any fear of teachers. Even in private schools the condition is almost same. I have seen my friends memorizing the concept instead of understanding that. If we write answers in our own words , teachers make our answers incorrect. These all are real life incidents.

I too hail from a village and you won't believe how private schools run here. On normal days, the duty of a teacher is just to make students sit in class by force nothing else. Parents just want their kids out of the house for five six hours and they only care about how long a school can keep thier child there and in exam time teachers leak the paper or sometimes even write the papers themselves to ensure the kid passes the exam, this system is destroying the young students and only those who have educated parents or any other person like a good tution teacher, who knows the reality (like me) can learn something and the situation is getting worse day by day and after this covid pandemic, only God knows what's gonna happen, most of these kids are going to grow up completely illiterate that too in a world of 2030 and 2040 and it scares me that how they are going to survive in that world.

I am an 8th grader And I know how to tackles these jerks (teachers) first don't even think of depending on them , if you have internet than just learn from that (Khan acd, edx, msvgo etc) it will help you in a better way.....I have observed that all the teachers (like all of them ) are focused on question/answers, plz avoid this ,learn concepts it must (you tube and apps that I have mentioned above will provide you a learning platform for that) 2nd -dont let negativity of teachers/schools get you at home ( I know it is difficult bcz they take our 6 hours daily but still) and to improve your creativity you can use Skill share and Alison or edx ....we have online classes now and the only thing good about that is the opportunity to learn something from internet and having a decent idea of learning platforms . 3rd and most important- don't blame system and teachers bcz blaming them will only make you feel bad and devastated ( I know those jerks deserve to burn in hell for ruining the future of nation but this is for your own good) try to cope with this system and don't lose hope ,you can learn anything from internet bcz it has the evey piece of knowledge. .... Good luck I hope this helps 🙏💕

yeah I can totally relate I am in 11th rn and the only way you can be successful is by learning whole chapter rather than actually knowing what it is telling a fact students are said to learn whole periodic table and its properties but if someone places zinc in front of those they would not be able to tell what it is

Will Durant was a Pulitzer prize winner author and a historian as well. He said the following about Islamic rule in India -- "The Islamic rule in India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex of order and freedom, culture and peace, can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within."

In India, more importance is given to Education than the Happiness of the People. Marks need to be High, even if Happiness is Low. These mere numbers have become a big part of social reputation, and this has resulted in a never-ending Rat Race, where one student always tries to compete with another, which results in Jealousy and Anger.

Maharashtra's rural education is a sort better than other states. Even where I live gov school teachers teach at night coz students have their parents smart phones and they could keep on eye on them. So no games! Also they take tests on Google forms. They don't usually teach according to curriculum coz its waste. Rather they see what's essential.

Even I had a bad experience. I was and am a slow learner and do have atention problems. It was only in second class that I had some basic knowledge of reading and writing. In class1, I could not understand most of the things. I even used to get scoldings and beatings for not writing proper answer. Where you criminalize a person's situation, what the concrne ones do is to escape and not improve. The conventional notion of correcting things with physical force is nothing but redundant. Scoldings things for their incompetence will only make them justify cheating and not showing up, and this is probably coming up in the recent studies on prisoners. But I think that some miracle happended to me and I had a spike in understanding the english text and to such a level that I came second in the class and continued to maintain an average 90% school life. This fact never makes me forget my CLASS II. I still think of it as a miracle but yes its my mom (she really worked hard on me for my general knowledge and english) and my friends ( Dev and Shikhar - both are IITians now) who gave me a sense of curiosity and competition. And later to my commerce friends. But this is not the end of the story. I did put a lot of effort to it, causing havoc ony my productivity. Law school has made me look even more average. Still there is lot to climb. Just hope for a future profitable model where students are not just considered as a masterpiece and not assembly line products. I mentioned my friends point to say that apart from teachers we need good environment for the peers and a constructive relationship between juniors and seniors so that juniors are not left unguided. People like Mohak are more inspiring than Dhruv Rathee. He shows where the society can improve. All the best!!!

Truly speaking I just can't bear with this system. This happened with us during lockdown. When our online college started our teachers used to finish 1chapter in 1week. This was during early period. After 2 months only 25% of portion was completed and we were told that for the first internal exams 50% of the total syllabus was gonna come. Literally in span of 10 days they finished the remaining 25 Percent. And they assume that we will give exams without cheating. How are we supposed to learn in 10 days which should have been given a month atleast. Now we are forced to study by our own will. If I don't copy I might even fail. This is the shittiest experience of mine with the system.

Teachers didnt care for our knowledge they just wanted us to score max. marks it was really unfair.
