My issue isn't that they allowed it. I understand the why, I'm amazed that they didn't do any follow-up with Anakin as to what happened in these meetings. If they didn't do it for Anakin, then it meant that there was no mechanism in place to monitor Padawans. Just as in both Canon and Legends, there were older children who joined the order, and there was no mechanism in place to accommodate their situation just as there was no training support for students who were extra gifted. All the students were just together based on year, regardless of ability. Unless you were too weak, then you got dropped like a hot potato.

I totally agree with you. To add the jedi didnt care much for you apptitude for the force(althouh they had a bottomline) You could have had higher mediclorian count then yoda or sidious but they felt you attactment with your parents were to strong it was bye bye Sith doesnt excist so nothing to worry about. I will die on this hill I believe freeing Anakin and schmee would have let to a positive domino effect for change for change. Resulting in a jedi slowly break out of their walls and heping the universe. Anakins mom without a real connection to the force was more attuned to the light side then the whole Jedi council. Padmé was kiind of the same. (i realised Anakin fell in love with a woman who was a copy of his mother) Anakins mother if freed together wit Anakin would both placed in the temple. She would demanded a change and push to aid new jedi childeren and parents, so both can adjust properly to the new change without feeling loss. She lived for Anakin in the temple Anakin trained many hours. She would be bored and in need for a purpose beyond living for her son.

They did him dirty. If they let him save his mom, grant him the rank of master which he deserved he probably wouldn't have went to the dark side. I blame mace windu who flew out a window. He was always a dic to Anakin.

I know its not ‘canon’ anymore but that one scene is enough to show what Qui-Gon meant to Anakin and added as tangible proof of ‘Him being the father Anakin needed’ not just to the fanboys that take Filoni’s word as law. It also adds to Obi-Wan’s insecurities and doubts of training a padawan so early on his Jedi career.

I may be wrong, but in the novel i believe qui gon tried to stop him. The problem was he could only speak to him and anakin was too enraged so he ignored the voice and went on with the slaughter. Which was terrifying.

Qui-Gon did attempt to stop Anakin from killing the Tuskens in Episode 2, but he could only manifest his voice since his training wasn't complete. It wasn't until many years later that Qui-Gon pushed himself to emerge physically to Obi-Wan on Tatooine.

It was in the comics, but i saw one of retney's and stupendous wave's videos about the massacre, and whoo boy i understand why they couldn't put it in the movie. He was savage about what hemwas thinking and doing!

Hello there! I am not certain if I can make requests for videos, but can you please release videos about Luke Skywalker during the age of his new Jedi academy? Cannon material of course. I am not the biggest fan of cannon material, but I have a soft spot for those particular stories when it comes to Luke.

I like the legends stories about luke., his order and the exploits of the skywalker/ solo family! It would have been amazing if disney would have went with them. His wife and son were cool!

@@christinestevenson4304 You are correct. Luke had travelled to Tython to meditate upon the seeing stone, in hopes of discovering a way to reach Exegol. He was then transported to Exegol and confronted by Sith Wraiths, which were specters of dark power. He was then saved by the spirit of his father😌

I'd have joined the Sith too. The jedi just told Anakin no to everything. Palpatine had cool stories about the Sith and complimented Anakin as he deserved. Bet when mace was flying out that window without a hand wishing he gave Anakin the rank of Master which he rightfully deserved. The Sith are cool and have cooler powers and lightsabers than the uptight jedi too. Also cooler names. It's a no brainer Sith all the way.

I don't think the Jedi allowed Anakin to be friends with Palpatine. In Attack of the Clones, we see Obi-wan tell Anakin not to trust any politician including Palpatine but like the hard headed moron that he is, Anakin doesn't listen to him. In Revenge of the Sith, Both Mace Windu and Yoda agreed that it was too dangerous putting Anakin and Palpatine together especially since Mace can sense the dark side of the force surrounding the chancellor. None of the Jedi wanted Anakin to get too close to Palpatine but he ignored them and allowed himself to be mind-twisted by the Sith lord.

I'm sorry but if mace mindu had taken a liking, to Anakin and decided to train anakin himself but showing acceptance towards him I feel like anakin would have been so much more powerful. In all mace should have charged anakin with Palpatines arrest or execution. With himself stalking in the shadows in case he would be needed.... but then I believe anakin would have stayed in the light.

The Jedi's biggest mistake was letting Anakin be a Jedi in the first place. I don't think he was ever going to be a fit in the long term. Too emotionally unstable. When it's all said and done, Mace and Yoda were right. He was too old.
