Read the republic commando books. They do an amazing job explaining why so many of the clones died because they were all deployed as front line infantry instead of used to their specialties. The Jedi generals had no idea how to deploy them correctly.

I think it comes back to Palpatines plan to have each Jedi couched with clones around them so he could trigger order 66 and have reasonable certainty of killing as many targets as possible. Generals would have units whereas spec ops would just have a few clones in a lot of situations.

Its for historical reasons. Before the 1,000 years of peace the sith empire had all but destroyed the republic, and only the “Army of Light” led by the Jedi were able to turn the tide. The republic thought that by recreating that event they could get soldiers from all sorts of planets to rally together

I chuckled every time I see Anakin pointed his lightsaber at Dooku and said he'll pay for all the Jedi killed in that battle. The Jedi were killed by poor leadership and planning. They all jumped right in the middle of a coliseum surrounded by thousands of blaster-totting droids. It's like a fish getting angry at the fisherman when they themselves jumped into the barrel on their own volition.

They didn't know about the droids when they arrived. As far as they were concerned the geonosians were pretty much insects so a few hundred jedi would completely overwhelm them. Considering 1 or 2 jedi were generally sent to resolve massive diplomatic conflicts the idea of that many being anything less than dominant was unthinkable.

Stats were a little off, but roughly around the numbers you reported. Out of the 212 Jedi that were sent to help THREE people, only thirty survived, with two more dying in the battle outside the arena. (So only 28 survived total). The Jedi Order suffered HEAVY losses, as I stated above, so much so that some dissidents were created and those in them refused to fight for the Jedi Order. This further paved way for the rise of Palpatine and The Empire.

My ideal "lightsaber" is actually a lightsaber pike with a light blaster pistol integrated at the tip for surprise attacks and medium ranged fighting capabilities. The hilt design would be aesthetically simple but made of expensive materials such as Black Phrik and Chromium embellishment. I'm going to take inspiration from dark side warrior Warb Null in Legends and have the last section of my staff be a back up lightsaber. I'm not one to take caution lightly. Not all enemies will stay at a moderate distance for my pike to be most effective. My weapon is very disadvantageous if an opponent or enemies are located in cluttered or tight spaces like offices and hallways. I've said all of this and didn't even describe the crystal/blade color and its properties. I'd have 3 crystals in my pike's longer crystal chamber: -1st is a haunted White Sapphire gemstone - 2nd is a Damind focusing crystal for a wider and longer blade - 3rd is a Rubat focusing crystal to define the blade's shape and sharpness. These crystals in concert would give me a defined "phantom white" blade/spearhead that incessantly whispers while active and groans/shouts when making contact with an object. For some lore aspect to this strange weapon, it exists to inspire fear and repentance in the presence of the mysterious and powerful leader of a dark side cult called "The Apostles of Onrai." The leader is a young Sephi man, who's clothing and personal objects predate modern Republic designs and fabrication by 10,000+ years. Hope this wasn't too much detail.

My Ideal Lightsabers, are for duel wielding, main saber in my right hand, shoto saber in my left. They would be straight hilts, how a simple saber would look, main saber about 10 - 11 inches in length and an identical shoto saber about 2 inches shorter. Both sabers coated in brushed gold from head to toe. The body would have thin vertical indented lines along it for comfortable grip, spinning and flourishes. There would be 4 thick black lines around the emitter with a column of horizontal windows in each line and a matching pommel with a milled grip detail. The windows would stand out the most when the sabers ignite a blue blade and would especially be an elegant contrast to the gold of the saber and be a nod to my college colors. The primary blade length of my main saber would be 36 inches, while the shoto’s primary length would be 26, I say “primary” because both sabers would secretly have the dual-phase function, allowing the blade’s length to be adjusted between 20 - 37 inches during combat, completely throwing off an opponent if constantly switching sabers between hands. The name of these Sabers is ‘Exodus’ & ‘Exodus’ Shoto, Exodus meaning a mass departure/retreat of people, so in this case, when you see me, it is time for your whole crew to leave. My second constructed lightsaber would be a coming-of-age saber, one where I am no longer a young, prideful apprentice but a humble, newly found Knight understanding of the Force and on the verge of mastery. The straight hilt would be about 12 - 13 inches in length, slightly longer than my first main saber. Designed around a profile shape, with body features lathed and milled details with an indexing ring making gripping the saber effortless. Featuring an angled emitter with horizontal oval windows on the flat sides of the saber, mirroring the details all down the saber's body, switch, and pommel section. It will not be entirely gold this time, but a balance of brushed gold and black (Story wise: having used parts of my damaged shoto saber). The flat sides are black, the rest of the saber is gold. The Krystal used for this saber would be a Danderi Crystal, where the blade color that would change based on the wielder’s connection to the Force, and In my case, I actually see myself with a silver/white blade, it would in fact contrast well with the black windows of the emitter, making the light from the saber especially pop at night. Another ability as learned from the video is that the Danderi Crystal is also being able to recycle the energy from a battle and recharge the user’s energy to stay alert and keen to the Force. And because of that, I would name this Saber ‘Rebirth’ for the essential replenish of energy the Krystal gives when ignited and the silver blade representing true balance of the force, allowing one to rise above most who only see conflict. This saber will not have a shoto, but instead will be utilized alongside my ‘Exodus’ saber for dual wielding, due to losing my Exodus Shoto in battle, (story wise). My new ‘Rebirth’ Saber will go in my right hand, while my original ‘Exodus’ Saber will go in my left hand.

I always thought that the clones willingly listening to the order of the galactic empire after the purge was because of their inhibitors rather than their secret hatred for the jedis poor technically decisions. I can understand what reason they would have but I doubt that every single clone wanted to gun down their general personally, if even half of them. Ofc there's a handful like slick who wanted to kill his general or desert the battle but most of the clones were either prevented from doing that from the chips, I think (until order 66 ofc) or they didn't have the heart to do it, after all clones were more patriotic for the Republic rather than aware of the miscalculations by their own general causing even more deaths than needed

Hey, great job with the channel, I'm really happy for the amount of research you put into each of your videos and hard work you put into your content. Hope your channel keeps growing to reach out to more fans of the star wars community. Really like the Legends material. As someone who likes to hike outdoors and go on adventures, my ideal lightsaber would be a long-handled staff lightsaber about 140cm in length and 10cm in diameter. The reasoning for this is to utilize it as a walking-staff so that if I needed to, I can use it to traverse rough terrain and use it for practical purposes such as using it as a pole for a teepee for travels. I'd love to have the staff made from Mandalorian Beskar, to use it for the purpose of blocking lightsaber strikes or fighting without the need to ignite the sabre if I want to keep a low profile. If the need arises, I'd have an ignition switch that powered on the lightsaber which would activate at the top of the stick with a transparent emitter for if the need arises, I can use the tip to ignite things such as a campfire, or power it on fully to use as a weapon. I would not want this lightsaber part of the staff to be noticeable, but this way I not only have a way to use it to get around by hiking, but also as a way to defend with the staff itself, have a source for fire without the need to ignite the sabre. Finally, if the need arises I would have a way to use it to fight using the saber when necessary to fight. I'd personally want the beam to be clear-white for the source of light.

8:35 even though they where transport ships, they still where heavily armed with several turbolasers and laser cannons so they could easily provide some orbital bombardment. It would have been best to just rotate them in to deploy their ground troops while keeping most or atleast some in orbit to prevent escape and to provide heavy air support. They also could have atleast created a blockade and waited till the Droid ships took off before firing while the clones on the ground focused on destroying those still in the ground or forcing them into the acclimators line of fire. Basically ground troops set up their SPHAs and the acclimators chill in orbit destroying anyone as they take-off

I’d say my ideal saber would be a warm crimson orange double bladed cross guard pike style saber. ( one side has the cross guard and the hilt is slightly larger than the other sabers hilt ) The cross guard part as well as the main blades would be adjustable, allowing me to make a longer or shorter saber and cross guard to make different types of “ poll arm like sabers “ . I would have lightsaber resistant plating on parts of the hilt and cross guard to make the poll arm function more effective. Here is my lightsaber design for my Starwars Persona: Triple edged saber, connectable/duel wieldable. Hilt is slightly curved, with a pike like hilt (Extendable hilt) and a corkscrew-like extension unstable (acts as power vent) blade at the end of the hilt, with a spike coming through. When saber is off, the hilt is 10” in length, when on (Not extended) the hilt is 1’ 1”, when the hilt is extended it is 2’ 6” (3” is unusable gripping space due to the corkscrew unstable blade end. Main blade is 35’, and the Vent end of the blade is 4’. The blade is white in color (For story line purposes). Blade guard is pointy with prongs as a sort of guide for the blade. Color of metal would be Silver/Mint green/white. All Blade Inspirations: Pike/lance (For when I want to use one half with both hands) Triple bladed (Similar to the War Dragon Lightsaber) Peacemaker (As in having the unstable (Vent) at the end of each saber) Tythian/tythian Pike (Similar to how it has a corkscrew motion when it extends)

Describing my ideal lightsaber: • Wield: Jar'Kai. I would love to dual wield lightsabers like Ashoka, Ventress, Starkiller, Maul and Revan (in a vision) did. • Hilt: The base of the hilt would be made out of the alloy of beskar and steel to make it shiny. The beskar would help to make it light but extremely strong at the same, even though the mandalorian Armorer would send me to Mandalore to get clean of my sins for using beskar to make a weapon. Anyways, the hilt would contain some black details to contrast the shininess of the base, after it's an elegant weapon for a more civilized age. The bottom would be curved downwards a little bit like it's on with the Defender hilt from the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy game. • Crystal: - Color: My favourite lightsaber colors are red and yellow. My affiliation of the force would be on the middle but a little bit closer to the dark side. I always liked the sith better. But I would also use the force to help my loved ones by imposing my own will and desires on the force. Why not purpe you may ask? Because, for me using a red and a yellow lightsaber would be the mocking for both the jedi and sith too. - Type: I would use 2 in each to alter the length of the sabers. Dantari and Qixoni crystals in the red one. Meditation and Mantle of the Force crystals in the yellow one. Dantari to recycle the fury of the battle and also regain used force energies faster. Qixoni to increase the heat of the blade and enhance my force potential. Meditation crystal to have a better connection to the force and to regain spent force energies while in combat and the Mantle of the Force would help me to increase my force powers. The quiet similar but unique in a way. But I think I would be just as happy with The Revanchist as with my dream lightsaber if I fortunately won the giveaway.

(For the contest) My ideal lightsaber would be a sith Saber with a smaller handle with unique Zeffo type of designs on it, it would be a bronze color with white around it, the blade color would be red but it would have a short blade on the other side that is orange, (to represent energy and fire(it could also be black, to show darkness, hate, emptiness and aggression)). There would be handle guards around the emitter. The design fits my personality, (not the colors seeing as I'm not a heartless killer) but because it kinda just feels right to me. Ok hear me out. I would use dual lightsabers. One one use a Permafrost Crystal with the Mantle of the Force crystal while the other used a cracked, small lava crystal. The addition of the mantle of the force crystal to the permafrost would allow it to freeze enemies to a much greater effect: the blade would constantly be at absolute zero. The lava crystal, being smaller in size to a regular crystal would be used in a shoto saber and due to its cracked nature would contain a vent at the bottom of the hilt. an interesting distinction for this saber however would be that the user could change which end of the handle would be the vent or the actual saber, by result it could get them out of a lot of situations where their lightsaber was turned against them. On top of this I think that due to the crystal being small and cracked the saber would likely be lighter than a normal "lavasaber". The hilt for the permafrost saber would be similar in comparison to Leia's from episode 9 with the main distinction being that the orange color would be a light, almost baby blue. The "lavasaber" would be similar to savage oppress' lightsaber, however the sliver and black parts would switch. on top of this both sabers would show the crystals inside which would create a very unique defense system. To wield these sabers you would need gloves that could resist their extreme temperatures otherwise the showing kyber crystals would maul your hands. Even people with robotic hands wouldn't be safe as the permafrost crystal would make the metal weak and brittle and lava crystal would melt through. With my respective permafrost and lava sabers I would be a Gray Jedi, killing Jedi and Sith alike until ultimate peace and balance is acheived.

Well I'm glad I came across this giveaway because I've had a lot of thought on my dream lightsaber and I'm gonna use every excuse to talk about it. Design: So my ideal lightsaber would be a double ended lightsaber with the same proportions on Maul's blade. The idea is it's functional as a sword staff when just one end is turned on and then obviously as a double ended, although I'd make some changes. First of all the saber will separate into two BUT not in the middle of it making two equally sized lightsabers, but instead about 2/3s of the way down the handle producing one saber with a longer handle and one with a shorter handle. The longer saber of the two would be best utilised in fights where power and leverage is desired while the shorter one would be useful for tactical reasons, very close/confined quarters combat and for quick attacks and movements (and also stealth of you could call a lightsaber stealthy). And then of course having the option of two sabers means you can attack and defend at the same time. The hilt of the blade would be coated in Cortosis, the conductive properties of which would cause lightsabers to temporarily short out upon contact. Baiting an opponent into hitting the larger handle part of the staff/weapon would effectively disarm them creating an opening and for a window of time, I could guarantee the upper hand. Crystals: The lager half of the saber would use Dantari Crystals as they allow the user a better focus on recovering spent Force energies, occasionally recycling the fierce, wild energy of combat to the wielder to fuel their Force power. The smaller half of the saber would use Hurrikaine Crystals as when used in lightsabers, they created blades that were very good at penetrating defenses as they better ones reactions and reflexes. Colour: You may have already guessed from my choice of crystal but the blades will both be purple mirroring my connection to both sides of the force, because it looks very pretty, and purple is my colour. The hilt will be jet black with some subtle red detailing along the body in some places in a circuit like design. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk 😂

My ideal saber would have a normal length hilt but a double blade where the blades are only .75 meters in length so when both were extended it would only be roughly 1.5 meters so still being somewhat maneuverable and when only one was in use it would be a very quick and agile saber. I would construct the hilt out of Phrik or Beskar so it would be resistant to lightsaber blows, and as for the crystal it would be a impact condensed crystal amplified by a mantle of the force crystal. The hilt would be designed after Luke’s ROJ saber hilt, and would be able to come apart for quick dual attacks.

Ideal Lightsaber My ideal lightsaber would be a curved hilt with a cutlass hand guard on the front of the hilt made entirely of phrik. The color of the hilt would be a light purple, (in memory of my unborn children) a blue blade, (the color of my wife’s eyes), and with a white handle. The kyber crystal’s I would use is a Pontite Crystal and a Ankarres Crystal. The Pontite is known for its calming powers and its subzero burning touch from the blade itself. As described in Star Wars lore, the Pontite crystal was also known to hold the power of turning dark side users back to the light and calming them of their negative emotions. The ankarres crystal is well known for its healing abilities to others and to its wielder , so having a combination of both in my eyes is a very powerful lightsaber for a Jedi. For the blade I would have a dual phase blade in order to hold both crystals and for fighting purposes. As an avid fencer and champion of my club, having the ability of changing my blade length is not only effective but also efficient. Plus having a hand guard is a definite bonus.

My ideal lightsaber would be a sliver and black handle with rubber or other rubber like substances to increase my grip on the blade when parrying and striking opponents. The base of the blade would be a durable metal with a layering of electrum plated metal (from fallen order). I would have a harpoon shaped emitter so that it can cover my hands and cut opponents with the sharp metal, I would also have a switch instead of a button. I would use a dual crystal lightsaber, one side with a quicksony kyber Krystal to increase the power of the force i weild and if I need to cut through substances, it is a heated blade and will cut through almost anything. On the other side, I would use a katak kyber crystal, allowing me to drain the life of my opponents while striking them with a heated blade. The katak and quicksony combine would assist in using the force on enemies and the quicksony would likely improve the power of the vitality drain as it is increasing the power of my force energy, meaning my opponents would likely be staggered by the drain giving me a chance to attack. For a color of the blade I would go for yellow because then I dont associate myself with either sides of the force but can still use them both. If I were to chose a lightsaber from your store, I would chose the aurora and for the color black and gold stripes

My ideal Lightsaber design would be a Tusken Raiders' gaderffii stick that's made out of Cortosis and the spike at the end of the staff will go in the staff and the beam come out through the hole. The reason why I want it to be made out of Cortosis is because I heard that it can cause a Lightsaber so malfunction and rerack the beam for a few seconds to minutes, that can be vital in a fight if you ask me; and the reason why I want it to be in the shape of a Tusken Raiders' staff is because 1: Longer handle means better leverage. and 2: It's such an effective weapon on it's own, we've seen how DEVISTATING it can be when Boba Fett used one to kill Stormtroopers so with the right training I can see this being an effective Lightsaber.

A lightsaber design I came up with is kinda cheeky. It would be a double bladed lightsaber with two crystals. One side would have a fancy slightly exaggerated emitter. This would emit a blade focused from a Krate dragon pearl, it’s loud and powerful nature play well for the next part. The second emitter would be small and as unnoticeable as possible almost resembling the based of a normal light saber. The blade of this side is focused from a ghost fire crystal. The opponent would be so focused on the loud internet blade coming from the fancy emitter they would never see the ghost fire blade coming especially if they didn’t think it was double bladed in the first place.

My ideal Lightsabers would be two single bladed light sabers that have hilts made of beskar with wooden grips attached. One of the Lightsabers would be longer than the other so it could be used with two hands. It would have a grip made of ebony wood that is stained to be black, and the word Dragon would be etched into the wooden grip in Aurebesh. It would have a Krayt Dragon Pearl as its crystal and a beskar cross gaurd near the blade. It would also have golden adornements throughout the hilt and two golden rings placed at each end on the wooden grip. The other lightsaber would have a shorter hilt so it could only be used with one hand, its wooden grip would be made of birch wood that is stained to look grey. This saber would have a Purified Sith Crystal as its power source and have the word Thrall etched into the wooden grip. This saber would have similar adornements to the other one but they would be made of silver and it would only have a silver ring at the top of the wooden grip.

In Rebels, Kanan Jarrus did say there were 10,000 jedi around during the clone was. In Geonosis, though a lot of Jedi did die, it was only .01% of the entire Jedi. Order 66 did wipe them out, but with 10,000 around, expect a lot of them to be still around as survivors.

It would also have an option to quickly switch the kyber exhaust vents to the bottom to allow a light dagger esque use. If possible the ability to connect it to an identical one like Asajj Ventress would be incredible allowing for as one sith may put it "UNLIMITED POWER"

You know what That's so crazy because when I first saw episode 2 in junior high, I didn't like it because I thought it made the Jedi look weak. Little did I know that this was actually the intention of Lucas in showing how the Jedi were incompetent and blind, etc. All the same points that you're mentioning specifically were what I felt when I saw the movie.

Hey VF2 what's up! Keep up the awesome great content dude here's for the giveaway. My ideal lightsaber would actually be two different parts. First I would have a normal straight handle with a permafrost crystal and an amplifying crystal for more power. The main blade would be just a normal straight blade but there would be two vents in either side of the handle that come out at a 45 degree angle and point away from away from the handle. The vents would probably be around an inch long with the actual blades being around 3 inches long. And they were put on afterwards by me and with scraps so it wasn't expertly done and so they would be kind of like in a weeve pattern that you could see through. The top of the blade would be slanted and have two little cuts in it exactly across from each other. The design of the handle would be round and kind of workshopy because when it was built I had limited parts so it is kind of a little random. After the top the vents would be there about an inch or so down. It would have a switch then instead of a button around the switch is smooth metal. After the switch would be metal ingraved with and grip and pattern made with a blow torch of sorts just small. On the handle there would be 3 wraps of beast hide spaced about an inch away from eachother and would start at the top of the handle. The end would round into a sharp point made out of a small bit of beskar like I said a little random. The metal would be all be somewhat higher quality because my family had a good bit of money however it would all still be the same color only aftermarket and from paint. These blades would be green repersentingredients my connection to the spiritual part of the force. The second part would be a lightsaber gauntlet with two gold/yellow blades on the left and right side. The gauntlet would be very round and smooth with all the components being hidden inside. The gauntlet would cover all of my forearm and slide on and then be strapped on for securness. The straps would be made out of beasthide or other types of leather. The front end would end with a very round curve down and back would just be straight down. The top layer of metal would all just be on peice and would be colored either a weatherd black or dark gray. The top would have a plate of beskar on it so it's able to block other light sabers in a dule. The gauntlet would have no switch or button because I would just use the force to ignite them. The gold/yellow represents the high level of my force connection and the position of my family in the jedi order as we were previously jedi temple guards. So where each blade of the saber is projected is actually a half of a jedi temple guards saber. The two halfs are set in place inside the gauntlet. The saber was damaged in an explosion that happend in my house after a ship hit it. The saber was damaged in the middle and so it was split to two for usage. In the middle of the gauntlet it would also have a built in balster in the middle of the two blades. The blaster would utilize the two crystals of the sabers to amplify the shots. It would use gas cartridges that u insert from the back. The balster would be for tactical and ranged attacks like how Ezrans saber functions.

Can you imagine nunchucks lightsaber? Well that’s what my imagination of a lightsaber would be. A double bladed short length light saber that open to be used in a new form of lightsaber stance. I think this would be interesting since it requires the wielder to be acrobatic and attack minded even in defence. The hilt would join back in defence but are primarily designed to be used as nunchucks since the lightsaber blade would be shorter. I would like an orange bladed lightsaber as a reference to the Shaolin.

My ideal lightsaber would be a thin white katana with je’daii markings making up the blade’s hamon (markings across the blade). It would also contain multiple crystals, as to change from a katana to a 3 stringed whip. The hilt would be light, tactical looking, and easy to handle, being a gold color and having small markings along the hilt. Other crystals give the blade flexibility, making it easier to slice through giant opponents and tough meat. The hilt would also be flat, like a katana’s hilt.

My ideal light sabor is a double bladed staff sabor. Black leather wrapped with fangs from beasts hanging off like a tasle. The metal is a worn black or gunmetal with two exposed crystal chamber. The switches have a etched hash pattern for a bit of a grip or texture and the emmitter has something similair to the claws on starkillers sith assassin lightsabor but since its a double blade its on both sides. The crystals are vextal crystals with katar crystal so my blades would use the force drain slowly weakening my enemies and making me stronger while also using force plague clouding their mind and also slowly killing them when struck The blade would be in syraight legends and have both sides color being black like the black sabor color in force unleashed but the blade would also have a unstable effect like kylo rens

My ideal lightsaber is kind of like two curved lightsabers (like dookus lightsaber) but they are put togheter. The color would be a cyan and lime striped pattern on one side and purple and yellow on the other side. I would also love if you could pull them apart and use them separately. The handle would be gold colored with small silver stripes. It would have buttons to turn on and off but it would be cool if you held the lightsaber and pulled it up fast it would turn on. The sound could be nice if you had more of a vaporizing sound than the normal and the turn on sound was the normal lightsaber turn on sound but with a more exploding effect. When you describe the battle it kind of reminds me of the real life Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia with the US army. 1. US military was strong and didn’t think the Somalis would fight back as hard as they thought just like the Geonosians. 2. The Jedi needed to ambush the separatist leaders and Dooku and leave, believing it would’ve been quick and easy. Just like how the US thought the mission would go. 3. The US was partnered with the UN army near a base with armor vehicles but instead decided to move in with their forces alone. Just like the Jedi did with the clone army.

Well: in fact i dont know if its international but i still whant to show you my idea: first im going to describe the hilt aspect and then the utility. The hilt is a strange one, is the same width as usual but three times larger than a normal one, the pome is a ball with 5 spikes , similar to obi-wan's first lightsaber pome. in the lower part there are some rubber stripes, as in anakins saber. one ingnition boton and the length changin one are just over the ruber and 5cm above starts a leather wrap that covers it until 2 small plates hide the ends of it. This plates would end with the begining of another leather wrap that will also cover it until the 3 botons right below the edge. the emiter would be decorated with 4 small blades like malgus ones. now: the utility The yellow blade that emerges from the emiter would be canaliced by a lorrdian gem as this configuration of the saber is meant for a defensive position. The saber has hidden uses, when you press the boton in the lower part this first third would separate from the rest of the saber revealing a red blade produced by a kryat dragons pearl whose wielder had blead, the you could use it as 2 different lightsaber. But wait, there's more. when pressing the third boton of the upper part and if the lower sable had been separated it would ignite a second blade coming from the original handle, this kyber would be an infected one as you could use the infection as a last resource. The double bladed lightsaber could also divide if you want making then 3 normal lightsabers that could be weilded like traya does. my sable is designed to make you able to adapt at any fighting style makin it the perfect lightsaber

My ideal lightsaber would be a War Dragon Rider lightsaber with a Firkraan crystal alongside an Etaan crystal. My lightaber blade would be bright orange with a deep crimson outline to show my compassionate nature while also conveying my willingness to do whatever it takes to protect those I love. While this lightsaber wouldn't improve my force abilities in any way it would give me a major advantage in battle. Every attack dealt or received by my lightsaber would cause the opponent's weapon to fly backwards while also dealing out an electric shock.

My Ideal lightsaber is a red bladed lightsaber because I think that the sith are correct in their ways, as Qotsisajak says, "Peace is a lie. There is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. The Force shall free me.” I would like my lightsaber to have a curved and double sided hilt similar to Asajj Ventress’s lightsaber but with a gungan/under water feel to it. The gungans are probably my favorite sentient Star Wars species. It’s really a shame that not many are force sensitive. One side of the lightsaber would be powered by a dual phase ligninor crystal and the other would use the bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse technique powered by two ultima pearls because in my Star Wars universe I am a gungan named Koff Zipps. Born 42BBY, I was sent away to Mon Cala as a child during the battle of Naboo because the council was worried about my force sensitivity being found out and exploited. I was eventually found hired and trained by the empire and became one of the most well known assassins of the rebellion era after killing 7 Jedi during Order 66. My lightsaber was given to me in 23BBY by the grand inquisitor and I used it for mostly underwater targets until I amounted enough credits for my ligninor crystal and started to bring in the big money. I died at the hands of Luke Skywalker in 12ABY in attempt of his assassination.

Ideal lightsaber would for a duel be a cross guard saber due to it giving a greater defense , and being able to utilize it to parry your opponent and in a scenario where you are locked with your opponent you can use it to wring the saber out of their hand, about standard size hilt or having it more like a bastard sword being able to wield it with either one or two hands for a greater options in combat, being able to use both strength and agility and gaining the ability to use mulitple forms, making it out of beskar would make the lightsaber a bit more resistant to other saber attacks, ensuring not loosing one of the guards from getting cut off, in terms of blade color purple blade for the win.

My ideal lightsaber would probably be shaped something like Darth sidious’s. It would have a cut out window to show the Hurrikane Crystal (like Starkillers), and the Emitter would be like Darth Tyranus’, with a sharp black blade on the end to sometimes k!ll my enemies quietly. And the entirety of the hilt would be made of beskar to prevent any damage or destruction (like what happened to Ezra’s). For the switches, the blade length and power adjuster would be gold and the activation lever black. The purple crystal (Hurrikane Crystal) signifying that I have a deep knowledge of the Dark side, as well as the light. Thanks and hopefully you got to read mine.

My ideal lightsaber is a double bladed light saber much like Darth Mauls. My saber would have a bright orange crystal representing both the color of the college I’m going to (Oklahoma State University) while also representing the balance of the light and dark side of the force much like my own personality. Being caring and kind but also so compassionate for the ones I love that I would do anything. My hilts color would be obsidian not letting any light out to make the blade pop, but would also have marble white accents to show that very balance. My double bladed saber would also be able detach where I could dual wield my lightsabers. On the bottom of my hilt in white which only shows while detached would be a family brand R3 representing our last names. My lightsaber/s having multiple variations allows me to use multiple forms of lightsaber combat including Jar’Kai, Form 6 - Niman, and Form 7 - Vaapad

I’d say my ideal lightsaber would use an unstable kyber crystal bled from Anakin’s lightsaber after episode 7 (I have rewritten the sequels to fit this) the hilt would be 12 inches in length and towards the bottom have the exhaust ports as seen on Mauls mandalor lightsaber with 2 sharp prongs sort of resembling Revans emitter, however the location where the third one would be is replaced with a small dagger which also covers the trigger to turn on the lightsaber. The trigger can be pulled and released as quickly as needed to retract and activate the blade strategically. This version of kylo ren would also carry a vibro blade alongside his lightsaber during “episode 9”. The blade is used in “episode 7” to earn his crimson lightsaber from Rey who has Anakin’s lightsaber. I also have an “episode 8 and 9” version of her lightsaber but that’s only if you ask.

My ideal lightsaber would be a double bladed one that didn't have to many knobs or buttons so it would be easy to swing and could also break apart and allow me to weild it like Ahsoka does. The color would be be a flame blade or unstable royal blue. I would use a Danderi Krystal because I think that it would be OP to recycle your force energy and while your opponent can't use the force, you can. If not that Krystal, than the Katak Krystal, because it would be OP to train your opponents abilities and then from there you can use the force and they can't.

My ideal lightsaber would be a greatsword type of saber, with a longer and wider hilt and a wider and longer blade, and can also be double bladed if necessary. It would use two Pontite crystals and would have a silver blade. This would be so i can remain calm in dire situations. The blade would be made out of wood with hints of damascus steel. Alongside that would be a sort of device i could use to channel the crystal into a beam with more range with the use of additional supply, i'd call it the "Kyber Cannon".

Not sure if the OP will see this, but I do know the clone helmets had inbuilt software to allow them to see through the smoke, sand and dust kicked up by the crashing Core Ship, making friendly fire much less likely. Plus, Clone Commandos were privy to a lot more information than your standard trooper, and knew themselves that far too often the Separatists should be winning through numerical superiority alone but were for some reason sort of pulling their punches by not deploying 100% of their forces in their battles. This does make sense since Palpatine needed the war to go on and not be over before it was time. I sometimes believe that if the CIS broke away from Palpatine's influence, say Dooku and Grievous turned on him/Sidious, they might have stood a real chance at winning the war. Saying that though, Sidious likely had backup plans for such instances, and could probably assume direct control over the droid armies and have them kill Dooku and Grievous.

my ideal saber is one with a handle shaped like the dark saber but can split like Cal Kestis that has two crystals in it a purple crystal like revan's and an artificial crystal like Luke's. my handle would be made out of beskar but with a wrap similar to a katanas. the illum crystal would be purple because I believe that I would use both the dark and light sides of the force. when split the handles would be the same size as a normal saber and would be identical save for the crystal. both blades would be shaped like the dark saber because I believe that is what makes it more powerful. the cross guard would be made of cortosis because it can deactivate sabers and leading to a quiker end to and duels

I would dual wield. First, an ordinary blade made of song steel with a solari-kyber fused with a piece of the sunriders destiny crystal so that i have a wide blade suited to form three (my preferred form) that only I can use and cannot be destroyed by lightsabers. My second blade would be light dagger, also made out of song steel, with a ghostfire crystal Paired with a concentration crystal to improve my use of my ordinary blade and assist my use of form three. This would also give me an almost invisible secondary blade that would would be near impossible to parry

My ideal light Saber would have a 9 inch hilt of a black chrome color, a crossgard that resembles an old knights sword, the blade would be white and in shape of the dark saber, and the style that would be used with light Saber would be a custom form that is a combination of tangsodo style sword fighting and old knight style fighting.

My lightsaber would have a cracked rainbow gem giving it a unstable cyan blade. The hilt would be have the curved approach made of Mustafarian copper with a smooth wood from the Brylark tree inlaid into it. The vent for the crystal coming out the back creating another small blade.

I have two ideal sabers. For my right hand I would use a tri phase single blade. The hilt would be made of an Ultrachrome-Beskar alloy similar in appearance to carbon fiber but with a solid metal feel. It would be black in color and there would be some [insert Star Wars equivalent for rubber here] grooves on the sides for grippiness. Look up the Praetor Hilt on wookieepedia - it would be similar to that but it wouldn’t be cylindrical, more like an oval stretched into three dimensions if that makes any sense. There wouldn’t be any switches or buttons on the hilt, as I would use the force to activate and direct the blade. The emitter would expand slightly from the hilt, and have sharp angles. It would redirect the basic form of the blade into a thin edge instead of the traditional cylinder, making it more sword-like. The emitter would also have a small barrier of sorts in place of a crossguard. I don’t want to be losing any hands, but would love for the saber to be relatively low profile and easy to transport on my person. Building this saber would be a daunting task. I have designed it to include three kyber crystals, which is canonically possible, but is exceptionally complicated and takes a lot of effort and luck to align properly. My three crystals of choice would be: an indigo Mestare, a black Dantari, and a dark red Qixoni - in order from emitter to base. The middle crystal (Dantari) would form the core of the blade and my connection to it. It reflects the force alignment of the user, which for me would be warrior spirit and neutral politics, causing the predominant color of the blade to be black - although slightly more fuzzy and opaque than something like the darksaber which is pretty shiny. The Dantari crystal would also rechannel force energy lost in combat back to me, increasing my endurance, strength, and focus. The blade would have deep red crackles and streaks due to the bottom crystal (Qixoni), giving the illusion of electricity surging through the blade. This crystal would significantly increase the temperature and power of the blade while also enhancing my own force abilities. Finally, the top crystal (Mestare) would have an electrotropical indigo color, and would allow me to cut through cortosis by projecting a field resistant to energy feedback. This crystal also has the unique trait of reshaping the blade, causing it to curve very slightly - almost like a katana. The indigo color from the Mestare crystal would normally not be visible, only appearing when the blade projects its energy feedback resistance field (EFRF), where it would replace the deep red streaks temporarily. These are the best renditions I could come up with using alt code characters. The vertical one is pointing downwards, while the horizontal one is pointing to the left. Try to merge these together in your mind. ╥ ▒ ▒ Ʊ±±±±±±≤ ▒ Ƞ For my left hand I would use a dual phase shoto with one crossguard. The crossguard and hilt would be made of Zillo beast hide with patterns engraved throughout. I would color the patterns different degrees of gray and black and leave the natural base color. This hilt would be a couple inches shorter than my primary lightsaber, and would be more smooth in its design. The shoto wouldn’t be cylindrical, but would have an oval shaped blade, emitter, and hilt. Once again, no switches or buttons on the hilt - the force exists for a reason. The shoto would have one crossguard pointing at an initial 55 degree angle from the main blade, and it would curve upwards as it traveled away from the hilt. Think of something like Maul’s lightsaber cane, but smaller. The emitter would be very simple and retain the smooth nature of the hilt. It wouldn’t be pronounced but would simply curve into the main blade. The base of the hilt (pommel?) would taper to a rounded point. Although easier to construct than my primary Tri-Phase lightsaber, this dual phase shoto would still require a considerable amount of effort, simply due to the unique crystals chosen. First I’d travel to the planet M’haeli and search the mountains for a Nextor crystal. These crystals naturally produce extremely volatile and unpredictable, yet devastatingly powerful blades. Only by developing a deep personal connection to the crystal itself over the course of several years can one hope to master the blade. The Nextor crystal only naturally comes in one color, a creamy gold-white, which gives a lightsaber’s plasma blade a shimmery gold appearance. In my opinion, this shimmering gold color would compliment the Zillo beast hide on the hilt. The second crystal I would introduce into my shoto would be a Ghostfire. Although these crystals are notorious for growing inside of invisible rock formations in the Outer Rim, they are in actuality quite common in the galaxy compared to many other kyber crystals. I would simply use the force to call out to them and hopefully that would work lol. The Ghostfire, as its name implies, produces an invisible and completely silent blade. Using this in conjunction with the Nextor, the Ghostfire would be the dominant crystal as far as appearance goes. The only time the shimmering gold blade would ever be visible, is if I decided it would look cool. The Ghostfire also has the ability to produce glitchy and laggy afterimages of the blade and user - this would be very beneficial to confuse and disorient enemies in combat situations. Also, after gathering a Stygium crystal and implanting it into some powered Duraplast armor, I could go full stealth mode with the shoto if the situation required.

My ideal saber would be a one that has a blaster like ezra's and 2 tsubas like in a katana one would be made from excess power of the crystal and one thats beskar just to be sure and i would also want it to extend with a push of a button like vader's and also one with an extra lightsaber (so i could just pull it out any time) thats also a blaster at the same time😅 with a tsuba made from beskar but the blade would be shorter tho And btw if your confused how the tsuba of the extra lightsaber would fit well the tsuba faces down so i could also use it as a double bladed lightsaber

I would say my ideal lightsaber would be a splitsaber, a saberstaff that can split apart like cal kestis'. For each of the sabers that make up this splitsaber I would like them to be dual-phase so it would be possible to change them to the length of a shoto for better application of two saber fighting. And with both of them being able to become a shoto you wouldn't have to worry about what orientation you hold it. With this I can swap between a saber staff for combat against multiple people and dual sabers for dueling. Other than that I would also find it fun to use dual guard shotos to fight

okay so I'm seeing a lot of these and I've decided to add my own ideal lightsaber. my own lightsaber would be a smaller short sword style. it would make a hissing noise whenever it clashed against something. it would look a lot like the Dark Saber in design and color. the short sword style is a good choice for me due to an easier swinging motion and the components made from it I would make it durite and the lightsaber is on the edge of the blade (Like from Solo with the brass knuckle blades). the rest of the weapon is made of a vibro technology and if needed a switch would activate to make the whole blade a lightsaber for extra offense, or at least cutting ability. the color of the blade would be a blending color, when it is just the edge it looks like the dark saber, black. however when it goes full lightsaber the color is a deep crimson purple/magenta. the hilt would have a rimming of steel colored to be more deep white with the end of it a smaller blade. the source of it's power would be a kyber crystal found far in unknown space that gives it a special property to the force (If that feels to much of a stretch than just a normal kyber crystal). that's about as much as I can think of, don't know why so many showed up but I thought I'd add mine for fun.

The reason that Geonosis was such a total disaster for the jedi was that the jedi that arrived were cocky and arrogant. They really weren't used to fighting against anyone that was willing to fight. Then Yoda showed up and took command , and we all know that Yoda sucks at making good decisions.

My ideal lightsaber design would be fairly simple. A dual phase blade with a curved hilt. Simply to throw off anyone from being able to attack or defend. But I would also want a quick switch system to ignite and retract the blade. The reasoning is frowned upon by both Jedi and Sith, however in war and survival the only matter is winning. To rapidly shut off and reignite the blade at will, within fractions of a second to make it so no opponent can actually block any attack. The curved hilt would serve to further throw off any anticipation my opponent may have. Essentially a blade and hilt designed not for combat, but for pure dominance in the face of survival. You can't block a blade that isn't there. Colour doesn't matter but preferably blue. I just think it's pretty. Or hell purple. Aside from that. I think perhaps incorporating a way to switch the blade from the front of the hilt to the rear similar to a duel blade, but more so to further confuse opponents. Perhaps a variable control of the blade length at will, and maybe a way to change crystal on the fly to alter the blades properties and mechanisms. Pretty much, full confuse and disorient build.

That's clever. Sounds like something the Sith would use. I would use a double sided purple lightsaber that can be split up into two. Essentially four styles in one. One handed lightsaber, two handed, two separate lightsabres, and a double ended one.

My ideal light saber would be a Katana style blade with a vexilar crystal, the katana would also have a hidden Tanto dagger in the hilt. The Katana handle would be made out of bescar, with gold detailing's. The Ito wrap would be a greyish purple, that would match my cloak. I think this would be extremely effective especially because of the hidden dagger I could pull out.

I disagree that Form 1 wouldn't be good against multiple droids and blaster fire. It's a strength and speed based melee form. This is what the form excels at. Attacking and defending against multiple opponents and deflecting blaster fire. Kit Fisto practiced form 1 and not only survived but kicked ass. Form 1 is normally weak against single opponents.

My idea light Saber would be a black Hilt with gold rings in between the finger Groves. At the end of the Hilt would be were the blade will come out of. There would be 6 claw like spikes that would come out that will surround the blade for 1 inch. The blade color is red.

My ideal lightsaber is a Praetor type hilt. I would use strength along with my connection with the force in battles by using a cryte dragon pearl. This crystal would not be for the power the crystal holds, but as more of a trophy because I would get the pearl myself to make my blade.. My bade would either purple or white because I would use dark and light, but I would not be a part a jedi or sith. With this being said, I would be more like a grey jedi than anything else. I am the keeper of the flame Soldier of balance Guardian of balance I am a grey Jedi... The second part of the battle was part of sidious's plan. He knew the jedi had no experience in commanding troops and would lead them in headlong charges that caused many clone deaths. This would plant the seed of hatred thay allowed order 66 to occur with little incident
