I had never heard of Mustache Armor before! Does the style of mustache affect the amount of protection provided? For example, would a Walrus style be more durable than say, a Handlebar? Will a Fumanchu defeat a Tom Selleck? Is the density like sloping armor, or is it all in the maintenance of said Stache? I only ask out of concern for Allen! Evidently, his wee little 5 o’clock shadow was powerless against whatever ailment he encountered. With the problems American Ben has containing the hair on his head sometimes, I would bet that he has the potential for a fearsome facial fortification! FFF!

The Devastation, the twin of the Malevolence, was another Subjugator, but was destroyed when his commander, a nightsister I think, took it to Coruscant to be destroyed (I don't exactly remember the story). There was also another Subjugator, the Malevolence-II, who was a lot bigger than the Malevolence, but he was destroyed during his construction

I think the malevolence should of had more broadside firepower. The slow turning speed would leave it vulnerable to ships not hit by the ion weapon. Even a ship jumping into the fight after the ion shot would rip stuff apart on the side of the malevolence

It's worth mentioning that this episode mentions that very large ships have larger minimum hyperspace jump distances. This explains why the Supremacy couldn't just jump in front of the Rattis in Last Jedi. They would've overshot them by a week and a half.

If the story arch of the Malevoance was supposed to be mirrored on the hunt for the Bismarck... Star Wars' grasp of history is poor... Bismarck's sortie was betrayed before it even began with spies noting its arrival in Norwegian waters in 1941, which would be confirmed by a Spitfire taking a snapshot of it in a fjord. The British knew of Bismarck's departure even before it left and were soon organizing the entire Royal Navy to hunt the battleship down, and while the British may have been unaware at first, they were not limited to just "shadowing" Bismarck with small ships. For once Britain knew that Operation Rheinbung was underway, the entire Home Fleet was on high alert, along with other naval forces that would be committed to the operation. This would include at least two aircraft carriers and several battleships, many of which would be in Bismarck's size class. Bismarck was 823 ft (max length) and around 50,000 tons at maximum displacement. In fact Hood was actually longer than Bismarck at 860 feet and was only just under Bismarck's displacement at around 47,000 tons at full load. The King George V class battleships committed to the hunt were smaller, but not by much and two were committed to the for the Bismarck. Prince of Wales would be present for the Battle of the Denmark Strait and King George V would be there for the conclusion of the hunt. It was the Rodney that was the smallest of the capital ships committed to the hunt for the Bismarck... But it should be noted that the Nelson class had thicker armor than the Bismarck class. It also had bigger guns than the Bismarck class. Nelson and Rodney had 16 in guns, Bismarck's main battery was on 15in. And even the 14 in guns on Prince of Wales and King George V could do Bismarck damage. In fact a shot fired by Prince of Wales in the Denmark Strait punched a hole in Bismarck's bow and caused the German battleship to leak fuel and would essentially mean the end of Operation Rheinbung… and that Bismarck would not get to hunt British convoys (and would never even see one). And while the story of the swordfish torpedo bombers from the Ark Royal have become something of legend in the story of the Hunt for the Bismarck, it should be noted that all they really did was cripple Bismarck's navigation. The warship's main armament, its 15 in batteries were still active and it would only sink after taking a pounding from Rodney and KGV (not to mention eating a few torpedoes fired by the Rodney) to the point where the Bismarck became nonfunctional, and had the Germans not scuttled the ship, the British would have sunk it or took the battleship as a prize.
