The lineup feedback makes so much sense. How much longer can they parade the same shit or slight variations of the same shit out there and act shocked or even disappointed that nothing has changed? Mariners are the most maddening team ever. How do I ease the rage inside? Will go watch Falling Down.

Jarret DeHart is the Mariners hitting coach. Tommy Joseph is assistant. Regardless, they're both not fixing and/or nurturing this horrific offense. Like, they have Ichiro in the office right there. He helps in the organization. Why the hell are they not going to ichiro and begging him to replace DeHart?
@swirvinbirds19713 ай бұрын
Is he a good coach? Ichiro had a very unusual batting style and used his speed to beat out a lot of balls thrown to 1st.
@derski873 ай бұрын
There is definitely something wrong with the offensive coaching! Their hitting has declined so much the last 5 years and so many players playing below potential! Over half their lineup having career worst or near worst years. We bring in guys who are supposed to hit and they drop off in seattle. Garver and polanco this year. Last year it was K Wong. 2022 - A Frazier, J Winker, A Toro & C Santana tanked. The list could go on. And then we send away kelenic and he is going off. Among other previous players too who are thriving outside of seattle

Like the analysis of Ty France. While I usually say I couldn't care less when kids have some movement with their bat as long as they get in good hitting position, watching the game today, it doesn't ever look like Ty gets his hands set and in any "standard" position with all that movement. Also had at least two strikes called on that half-swing.

Why isn’t Trevor May pitching for the M’s? Trevor May pitched 49 games last year for the A’s with 3.28 ERA, 21 saves and 46.2 IP. The M’s should sign him for middle innings relief. The M’s need bullpen help.

Trevor......Question for you Re Seattle. So they subtract 2 90rbi guys (Suarez and Teoscar) and replace them with??? Garver has never had even 400ab's in a season. Haniger simply is never going to be the guy before the injuries. Polanco has never been a consistent RBI producer (ok maybe a bit). Is there something to be said about about maybe the "art" of being an RBI producer kind of guy? Maybe my old school philosophy is wrong. But it sure seems my bias has been correct this year for the M's.

Oli was the cardinals head coach in 2022 when they were really good, so I don't blame him at all for a little blip in 2023 and the beginning of this season.

That was fun. It’s a good combo of numbers with “why the bleep can’t the Mariners have good AB’s?” Sell on Nick Castellanos. Plays every inning of every game. Brutal OF, now barely a league average hitter. One of the things about baseball that’s really annoying is how guys who supposedly are “good in the clubhouse” but suck at baseball hang around on MLB rosters for YEARS. Castellanos, Martin Maldonado, Jeff Francoeur…

@@joshuasorrt8241 I guess I must be arguing with a child or a drunk person, or a drunk child, but ok, i'll continue. Scott is a bad manager. That is the statement. He has obviously won enough games to be in first place with the players the organization has. Regardless of your whiney diatribes against the talent level of the organization, this fact remains. Your statements reek of emotion and childishness and indicate a very low aptitude for baseball, which, makes you the typical Mariner fan that posts on KZbin, Reddit or Lookout Landing. I am aligned with the elite M's/baseball fan that keeps emotions in check and understands the game.
