This is such a great topic to discuss. It’s so true in today’s world, who am I and what is my life’s purpose. I’m a 63 year old married grandmother. I find myself wondering what now? My ultimate life identity is in my relationship with Jesus.

Dr. Axe, I used to follow you some time ago for your great advice on natural health remedies. I have recently got back to watching your videos and listening to your podcasts. I am absolutely thrilled that you are not only helping people with their physical health, but their mental and spiritual health as well. The current culture has made a lot of what you just spoke on taboo or so uncomfortable to discuss, that people avoid it all together. It's as if they don't want people to get better. It's obvious that people are hurting and we need to get back to fundamentally sound behaviors in order to heal. I appreciate your work. You are part of the solution. The more you put content like this out, the more people can take what they hear and apply it to their lives. I think people do want to get better, but have been demoralized and don't know how. Content like this helps us get back on track. Keep up the great work!

Craving recognition and praise I believe is the wounded inner child who was not validated enough in childhood. I’m not a professional, I have lived it.

Some children NEVER have enough validation... so I'm not sure that's the exact problem.

Yes, being a full-time mom is a huge job. But many of their husbands don't respect them for it, and they can be left destitute if their husbands leave them for that younger woman. So women are forced to be everything if they hope to survive long-term. Society needs to step up and put its policies and money where its mouth is!

Thank you, Dr. Axe! 🙏🏻☝🏻 Pray for me to have courage, confidence, and self-esteem/spritual self-esteem. Personally, due to my "THOUGHTS, "FEELINGS"," and or "EMOTIONS" throughout the majority of my adult life of seemingly NOT having courage, confidence, and / or self-esteem. I believe it's caused me to have a lack of TRUE peace, joy, and contentment.

@Dr.JoshAxe What do you think about using Garden of Life Organic Protein Shake as a feed tube meal replacement? 85 Y.O. female in the hospital with Aspiration Pneumonia. The hospital brands are upsetting her stomach and have horrible ingredients. I'm going to talk to the dietician and physician this morning. Can really use your input Dr. Axe. This is my Mom.🥺

As a beliver myself, I'm deeply saddened to see that some of the most hateful people I know claim to be believers. I think they are driving others away from Christ and into atheism. Many are worshiping the golden calf and have strong authoritarian tendencies. Christ is too woke for them.
