The narcissist only see love as a weakness and a game but they hate to lose control and the supply you gave - attention, money anything they could use you for. When fuel is low they return they get bored of supplies very quickly and if you discarded the narcissist first they are only returning to get revenge. Who wants to go back to an enemy plotting revenge.

After 10 years of walking on eggshells, crippling anxiety, toxicity and ‘googling’ symptoms of what was wrong with ME, it finally clicked when her Mother said “She is missing the gene that enables her to love properly and everyone (including her adult daughter) is pigeon holed (harem garage) until she needs or wants them. 3 months from final discard and the peace is real. New supplies are on the scene - it’s amazing how similar these Narcs are and the pattern they follow. They really are empty shells void of personality, ideas, empathy and are dead behind the eyes... They crave admiration and attention and feed off it. No Contact and Blocking hurts badly at first - but it is the golden key to recovery. Great videos Dave!

In a way they suffer from codependency deep down so I kinda get it, they re-idealize the victims over and over again yet are too deep within the protective shell to gain insight and remember that it was awfully harmful. My ex narc cheated on me constantly , I was deceived by someone I thought was a friend who invited me to his uncles house for a party .. I turned up and he wasn’t even there so I had some drinks with his uncle and family .. my so called friend then appeared from wherever he was .. then my ex girlfriend called me asking me to meet her 😂 .. clearly them two were meeting behind the scenes .. as soon as she got to his uncles house them two spoke to each other constantly as if I didn’t exist .. I am just realising all of this now after being away from her for a month .. I was totally deceived by her .. it hurts a lot .. We have a child together too and she is using my son as a pawn in her sick game .. haven’t seen him for a month . I hope all this hell will end soon, I am now back working full time and she is still upto her wicked ways meeting new supply all the time .. I worry for my sons safety in all of this . How can you have no contact when they have your child and the custody? My life was destroyed by my narc ex, legally, financially, socially and emotionally. I’ve been away for awhile; I played into the hands again of the Narc just because he continuously said “I was his soulmate & he would die for me.” The more I was with him, the devaluation began about my issues he was unhappy with. The silent treatment to teach me a lesson, the isolation was horrible. One day he caught me listening to you Dave. He said, “I don’t like that guy, there’s something creepy about him! I said, “it’s the Holy Spirit that irk you” and he just laughed. It felt so oppressed & demonic, I found myself asking God to please release me from the crutches of this man. I knew I loved wholeheartedly but also knew this man would never love me..for me. I’m safe now but having to undo the damages all over again. Please pray I can let him go in Jesus Name. (Heart is weak & sick literally.; he writes the most destructive things..)
