@@bohanxu6125 AI was strictly entertainment, smart people can differentiate the two. Our government floods our communities with drugs, and spends billions pushing negative propaganda against black people. The only problem is the media doesn't have balance. It's good and bad people in every culture, but majority of other cultures don't get over policed, and over scrutinized in a negative way like black people. This government makes sure we are the face of everything negative. Example your culture is propped up as the model citizen, smart, productive, non criminals, never showing how your criminals are the #1 counterfeiters, imitators of all goods and services which allowed for the creation of the black market, never talk about the organized crime that comes from Asians like drugs, guns, and human trafficking (of their own people), triads, and other Asian crime syndicates. Black people in this world don't have a country nor a system or alliance with governments to pull these things off, black people can't identify as Caucasian and practice anti-racism against anyone, we can't make false claims about being harmed by one group of people to get federal crime bills, even though it's white people killing y'all in your business, and in the streets..now that gangster culture, joining forces with white society practicing anti-black racism. However, to better come it, you also need to change what is currently bad in your own culture. Again, don't get me wrong. These bad culture is not intrisic to black people in anyway. It's fundamental a consequence of history, whether it's from random butterfly effect or explicit historical event. I don't blame black people for it. @@Deoece Seconded, it seems like it would be pretty hard to rig whole playoffs just to ensure AI gets to Finals. A more believable conspiracy theory though would be that AI got the MVP that year in exchange for not releasing the album (an MVP is much easier for the commissioner to influence than a Championship).

Iverson had a lot of demons inside him. Got problems with alcohol. Ive red his biography and its quite sad story. Media and NBA tried to blame him for everything, even if it was totally not his fault. So Im not suprised, that he was really frustrated because he needed to prove all the time, he is not the black ship,, and had this alcohol issues. Fascinated player, who got huge impact, how current NBA looks like.

That doesn’t qualify as a LOT of demons. David Stern was full of demons because he wanted Iverson to conform but Iverson wanted to be himself and the media liked using him aa a scapegoat to blame for things not having to do with him

With the Pistons though there actually was validity for criticizing him as Chauncey Billups fit the team so much better than Iverson did. Iverson wasn't willing to sacrifice and that's why he never won a championship. He's still one of the greatest to ever play though.
@mykelotan37523 жыл бұрын
AI was averaging an MVP like numbers (26.4PPG on 45.8FG%/3.0RPG/7.1APG/2.0SPG) before going to Detroit so coming off the bench would not make sense. But regardless, Pistons management wanted him to get less minutes and off the bench for their "future franchise superstar" Rodney Stuckey.
@showtimenick8243 жыл бұрын
@@mykelotan3752 Their management was really bad and one thing that made them really bad was Chauncey Billups was a better fit for them the whole time. Also, the very next season, Iverson couldn't even come close to what he did in the 2007-08 season so clearly he did lose a step.
@mykelotan37523 жыл бұрын
@@showtimenick824 I agree, Billups was a better fit. They only made the trade because of AI's expiring contract thinking that they had a chance at LeBron next off season. So they used AI's expiring contract for the cap space to sign LeBron but ended up signing Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva while LeBron signs to Miami.

No he's wasn't a short Jordan, you're clearly getting carried away by this video. He was nowhere near MJ on the defensive end and Iverson was severely inefficient. MJ was a "win by any means necessary" where Iverson there was only 1 way and that was his way, if he wasn't the reason the team won a ring then the team won't win a ring.

The more you think about it it's kind of insane the impact AI had on basketball. Basketball and Hip-Hop didn't really have any sort of national crossover until iverson.
