Hey everyone! I seem to have made a little error in the video. Apparently, the OLED PS Vita had no internal storage, whereas the 2000 models had 1 GB of storage. Sorry about the confusion! And thanks for all the support!

I remember as a kid, i had a vita 2000 model. I always wished for ps home for vita but we got home arcade. Better than nothing. Then my 2000 got stick problems and broke later. I mean of course. Its a 2000. Then i just really wanted one in 2020 and i bought one on Norways type of craigslist for 100$ or 1000 Norwegian. with 32gb sd card. Now i have modded it. I also use that sd2vita card you use for more storage for a cheaper price. I also have a overclock plugin that helps games like borderlands 2 run a lot better. I used it on all my games. It helped me get a better experience on Disney infinity 2.0 on vita. There is also a plugin called trophax wich can give you all trophies instantly. That plugin helped me get the rest of the trophies on Disney infinity because you cant get them anymore because Disney shut down the servers.

Small correction - The original 1000 model has no internal storage meaning you were forced to buy a memory card and the later 2000 model has 1GB of storage which might be help with game save data

It was truly a blessing to have ps vita. Ps vitas are light and more comfortable. But If were one of sony's worker, I would make a new ps vita 2 which you can connect a ps3 or ps4 controller same to nintendo switch. And also, rather than used a henkaku, it's better to copy a psp game from a ps3 or copy it from a pc to vita. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. The only game I don't have is a liberation and call of duty psp game. I wish they could make a ps vita 2. 😊

If they want a vita 2 they will have to do the switch model. What I mean by this is that I believe the reason why the switch is so underpowered because Nintendo was trying to be careful with pricing so consumers didn't get angry and they could make a consistent profit.

I haven't bought a switch yet, but the switch price here in philippines is 15, 000 to 26, 000 pesos which in U.S. is $300 to $593, depending on the store you bought from. But yes, they will have to do the switch model. As long as it is sony's idea. 😊👍

I tried taking my switch around and exactly it's too big. Believe it or not I have like 60 games downloaded to my vita, a huge comparison to the switch witch only has like 6 lol. So yeah I still love my vita. I take that on the go more.

You may want to put a disclaimer about the internal storage. The 1000 which is the one you have does not have internal storage. The 2000 which is the LCD model is the one with 1GB of storage, not 4GB.

The ps vita is awesome indeed brother. I wish Sony didn't give up on it. I got the ps vita slim last year and I'm loving it. I got the silver colour and got a plastic shield all over it because I don't wanna get a scratch on it. Would've been nice if they made a new vita with 4K display and make the screen just a little bit bigger. Like where the Sony and ps vita logo is. That would've been more space for a bigger screen

If the Vita had a universal memory card, L2 R2, L3 R3, and a port of GTA San Andreas it would of been fine. Custom Firmware is still pretty fun. Can play all my N64 and below games.

I just bought mine for 11,000 pesos PH/200dollars US back in 2017 and its the last Uncharted Bundle Phat version and I must say that im lucky to have the OG vita instead of the slim version.. and now with all of the hacks that been made like henkaku, hencore , the vita's true power is like a phoenix rising from the ground. With emulators being researched by modders like Daedelus 64. And who knows it might one day run Ps2 games.

Love my Vita. Got it just a few weeks ago. It's right there with my 3DS and my Switch. Tho the first thing I did was hack the living fuck out of it (just as I did with the 3DS, which is why I don't have to say that I love my GBA since it's on both) and the second thing I did was download a bunch of themes so I could get rid of the look you seem to love and replace it with something nice and sleek. Funnily enough while I've played some Vita games on it (Geometry Wars is amazing, and it's fun to try to beat high scores my friends set nearly a decade ago) 95% of my time with the Vita has been playing either Persona 3 Portable on PSP or playing Burnout Legends on PSP. ModNation Racers and WipeOut are fun and all, but Burnout Legends is just so fun. Anyway, it's a great system, and having picked it, a 3DS and a couple of handheld emulators in the past year I think my collection's complete. I wonder what I'll get weirdly obsessed about next.

@Swiftness Studios uuuh... No, the PS Vita Slim has 1 GB of storage, no versions at all have 4 GB, if that was the case, it could've saved the vita as 4GB at least can give you space for some games. The FAT version, does not have any storage at all, except for the PS Vita cards.
