The130 grain corelock seems to do good. Lighten the trigger and if you want free float it and it will group good

Yeah they did well. I was getting concerned if it was me or the rifle so I fired 3 through my 243. I knew it shot well. I'm also going to check on a trigger upgrade as well to see how it helps. Maybe even do some reloading development with it. Thanks for watching and God bless.

It's hunting accurate. No matter what you do to make it shoot better, the bolt throw will not get better. That's the one thing that would kill the deal. Other budget rifles that offer more than the Remington does. Prayers to you and family for health and happiness my friend 🙏

I agree, I still hope that they will see where their falling behind in the market. We appreciate the prayers and please continue. My hope is that this channel will see people helped in more ways than I can do. But I love trying!!! God bless

Like you, I have nostalgia tied to them. I bought multiple post bankruptcy RAR serial code 700’s. The biggest issue I see from them is the synthetic stock at the action screw locations uses one escutcheon up front (not a pillar) and just the plastic at rear tang (no escutcheon and no pillar). If you have the opportunity to look at multiple 700 ADL’s at the same time where the ejection port line meets the stock, the rifles will likely vary some. In other words, they have some trouble consistently machining the rear tang area (the front is cylindrical and easier to consistently machine, but the rear is more difficult). What this amounts to is it is hard to maintain consistent bedding from the factory. The action screws come finger loose from the factory. When tightened with a 5/32, some rifles hold their tension better and others get loose faster. In short, the accuracy potential is generally there but bedding can be a problem with 700’s. Savage Model 110’s are associated with accuracy mostly because of the floating bolt, but both the front and rear is the same cylinder and plane, so they bed and stay bedded/tight very well in any material stock, which helps accuracy and precision over time.

People complain about the ADL 700 being higher priced than the Axis or the American. Leupold is higher than Vortex for a reason.....

My 700 adl stainless steel is a very accurate rifle for the price I payed for it and I have no problem with it

I have had great luck out Ruger and Savage. For me I guess it's a nostalgia thing. Remington was the rifles that all of my family either owned or wanted. Thanks for watching and commenting! God bless
